It's been a long time since I've had anything cool enough to share here. I picked these up a short while ago from eBay. I'm really looking forward to painting them. I'm going to add them to my Plague Marine list as Allies.

Hoing this bump spurs some renewed interest in old miniatures. If anyone else has some to share please feel free to post them here.

Bugger I remember when most of that 40k stuff came out.

Love the old 2nd edition hive tyrant I think it looks a lot better than the newer ones. I still got some bits of my old one like a venom cannon and barbed strangler.

I have a unit of those old plaguebearers to paint up eventually.

Awesome models that just exude character.

Thought I'd post these two pics (the two at the bottom). This is a figure my Mother recently found when doing some cleaning. I bought it many years ago when I first started wargaming before I even started playing 40k and it was old then. I never had a use for it, so it never got opened up and I had forgotten about it for a long time. I just sold it recently to someone who has been looking for it for years, so it's finally found a good home.

It's "The Warlord Aetius" from a series that Citadel did around 1987 called "Warriors". It's made up of historical figures from a book or series of books by the Blandford company. As you can imagine, the figs and the huge bases are long OOP.
Here's an advert for the series, note the price at the bottom!:

You can see more information about the series here:
