Im using painting minis and f'ing around on facebook on taking my mind off my dying nan, my next 3 units of minis will have the Ice bases, tho no plans that Dark Art are going to do bigger bases for terminators and the dreads at the moment.

My nan has now passed beyond the rim.

Ahhh the mug - well this month has been a bit tricky as I'm making twelve mugs for a convention. I have just finished throwing and turning all those twelve today and tried to throw another two for you and another client but it just wasn't happening today - lots of wasted clay - soon I will be back in there to finish the mugs for the convention and will have another go at yours - any particular shape you would like?

I have cast the first test of the second pad and found my air duct wasn't as ducty as I thought and I have to cut a new one in the mold and redo probably tomorrow, but what did come out looks
excellent.

I will start the sculpt of the common marine pad this week and have soemthing to show hopefully by the weekend. If I get bored I'll do a Terminator one as well, just for the heck of it.

That said I amcompletely out of pinkysil now (having also just made the mold for my skave guns) so I may not beable to cast the new pads for a week or so).

My guys? Well the legion are almost done I'll be finishing the second tac squad this week, and the terminators will go into full swing next week along wiht some new casting supplies for thier shoulders, should be done with them early May. That is of course if I don't get caught in a conversion tornado and end up with three dreadnaughts and a un-needed amount of extras... cough... like I'd
do that...

The Skave are halted for pinkysil once I get more I can make enough guns to fit out the troops and begin working on the transports and Screaming bell.
Most of it is on display at various stores atm so I can't even play a game with them lol. Worst thing is the entire army will need to be repainted, the paint jobs on them was only to get them play worthy in time for a game with Da Dark Angelz and a small store campaign, so I need to go back and finish off all the paint jobs on the troops.

But getting there lol

Torn between Mk 4 and Mk 5 armour for the tactical squads but dont want to loose the speed from using a heavy weapon.

My favorites are the Mk III, and Mk IV is a close second, but the Mk V look too bumpy to me. But I have seen some great models with the Mk V, so I guess it's all in application.

and the lightning bolts are going to be fun.

I've given some lighting effect a try on some power weapons...not looking good, I need more practice!

00 Brush, sky blue and then white.

Cool! Not sure what my brush sizes are, I have Army Painter brushes, and they just "Detail" "Precise Detail" and "Insane Detail". But I think it's mostly my technique that makes a mess of it...
