Has anybody gotten a response from his email address? Ever since he was banned here I have not heard anything.

Well, if GW is working on legal action against him I do not think they would tell us anything about it. This was more than I thought I would get. I am glad someone took time to respond since I did not ask for a response.

Yes on both.

Right now I am looking into US Small Claims court and see if it's ruling can be enforced in the UK so people that were injuried in the US by SBU can collect their ounce of flesh.

It seems to be that I am the only one that made any money off of SBU eventhough I think he was going to try and recast the stuff I sold him.

I replaced the SM codex with my own SM codex for Night which he was suppose to receive which Mr. Heath felt that he did not have to part with. All I ask is just for him to pay it forward to another gamer that has run into hard times.

Mr. Nanson contacted me and asked if I had any more information regarding SBU to send it stright to him. So, any pictures, communication or anything of the sort send to him so they can handle the situation of his recasting and selling GW/FW items. At least we know now that they are really working on dealing with SBU and his recasting activities. Who knows, they will take him to court and put an end to his activities.

Thanks Pip, I just emailed him about my brothers and my own dealings.

He got back to me with a generic "Thanks, we will contact you if more info is needed". Not holding my breath.

It seems that SBU may have attempted to sneak back onto Dakka under another user account. Steps have been taken to prevent this happening again; however, I encourage everyone to be on the lookout for any user asking people to ship to "Anthony/Tony Heath" in Flintshire in the UK.

Hi i have just started attending a new club and thought i would advertise it here as they are trying to get some new members
the club is called Flintshire Fanatics and is held every wednesday night from 6.30 till 11 (although somtimes later ) and every other sunday from 5pm till 10pm it cost £2.50 per person and all boards scenery etc is there and in good supply think there is at least 10 6X4 boards and prob more and 4x4 as well

mainly playing 40K fantasy and warmachine there are also members that play flames of war as well as many others like blood bowl necromunda and other i do not even know (YET !) peopel are very friendly and always willing to teach people a new game etc

His three out of his first four posts on Dakka was asking people to low ball shipping costs to the UK. This is the same tactic as SBU. Since he does not intend to send anything or if he does he sends money in order to dispute the trade to get it back, so shipping costs are the only out of pocket expense in this scam.

So, anyone looking to get thier stuff back or get thier money refunded just look on the front desk of the that youth center and call asking for Mr. Heath at the gaming club. He was nice enough to give the times he will be there.

Some one in the area should go retrieve all our stolen armies :/ lol.

I sincerely hope that he does get done for this stuff, there's always someone out there who will try to pull stuff like this. Just never seen it on such a huge scale. Kind of puts me off doing trades a lot through the post tbh...

You just have to becareful. Use a Commerical company like UPS, FedEx or DHL that require a signature for the package. THis way there is a way that it can be tracked unlike with the royal post or the USPS. Also, as a seller you can be sure to win the Paypal dispute by doing it this way.

Everyone that was scammed out of items or money email that gaming group of call the Youth Center and ask for the person running the gaming group or for Tony Heath. If you get the person running the events explain to he/she that he could be playing with stolen minis and anything FW, FoW, Armorcast/Epicast could be fakes.

No, my Paypal claim failed (as expected) because he did actually send something. I can eat the cost, but that my younger brother got ripped off makes me angry. I hope karma bites him in the ass. Or a large dog with rabies.

GW seemed to be uninterested in getting the pieces. They also didnt send me the letter saying they are indeed fakes to forward to paypal until to late.

Still absolutely nothing received fake or otherwise on my end. :/

I've done all I can do short of jumping on a plane and knocking on his door. My package trace came back and it showed that he had gotten the package but we already knew that. I just wish there was something more I could do. This thread already pops up when you type his name in and scam.

I will check about adding his name to the title of this TR. Normally we would not do that, but he has been extraordinarily bold in continuing to recast and try to come back under different handles. Will update on that... but either way, people should be pretty well aware to steer clear at this point. My main concern is, as you said, his attempting to come back again.

I just wanted to add that I have seen Tony Heath called out to be lizheath2010 on another blog site by somebody who had former bad dealings with him. He noticed lizheath2010 selling items he traded to him under a different name. Messages exchanged between the two showed SBU's signature punctuation/grammar (or lack of).

whew, I'm glad I walked away from my trade with him. I guess luckily for me it wasn't what I was looking for, so I backed out.

this may be a coincidence but a tony heath bought a canis wolfborn from me on ebay a while back and he tried to claim he never recieved it when i said about claiming ad filling in forms he went quiet it was heath scenery i think just seems very funny that its the same name with a similar problem!!

More than likely the same guy as he does this often.
