Yup, judging by the infantile grammar, that's him.

I love the way he's undercoated them black and claimed any casting flaws are the problem of a '20 year old process'.

that Gobsmasha sure looks familiar, but unfortunately, it's been primered black, so there no way to tell if the main gun has been damaged prior to priming it.

It'll be a recast of the one Pipboy traded him. However, by undercoating it and makign the comments against the casting process, he's trying to make it look as if its an original, by hiding any casting flaws of his own.

It's a common trick with limited edition/rare figures on ebay. Let's just say if you see a ltd edition rare figure in a base and undercoated, odds are.....it ain't one that came in a packet, if you catch my drift.

I don't get how he's able to just keep coming back to ebay. To here, it made sense, as we have less security than ebay (although what we do have is now all directed his way...) and even now will mostly be relying on community awareness to spot him out.

But ebay? Surely, this is what they do... I would think that if they catch someone coming back onto to their system after being banned, they could take some extreme measures. Then again, maybe I have overestimated them... I recently received no package from an ebay seller, and got my money back through Paypal. But the seller wasn't removed from ebay, despite doing the same thing to a number of others.

Hmmm....

Paypal is going to take action against him right now because I was able to provide proof. They are very interested because he has been stealing money from Paypal by claiming he never received the items and filling disputes for his money back. He is so now.

"Dear lizheath2010,

Hello Mr. Tony Heath. Can you show that the item is not a recasted item since you basecoated. This is a common trick of recasters so I want proof that this is not a recast before bidding. This model should be light tan under that basecoat. Thank you.

Just to let you know Pip, you can actually make resin any colour you want, you just mix dye in.

If he really cared, he could knock you up a light tan one easily enough.

The funny thing is, if he'd been straight with his dealings here, and paid for his goods honestly, he could have happily gone on selling recasts on Ebay with nobody the wiser. Instead, he chose to try and default on the base payments for his goods, and reclaim his investment, and is now reaping the price.

I traded an old ork army I had with sbu a few months ago for a number of thunderwolf cavalry and one of big daddys knight titans. While there wasn't any money involved so he didn't try and scam me that way the models are all recasts and, especially the knight titan, have lots of mould problems.

I've just had a look at that ebay link though and it was quite interesting to see this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Custom-made-and-well-painted-ork-40K-stompa-mega-dread-/220777563134?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item33675e43fe

Which was part of the models I traded him ,as are the orks pictured, so it is definitely him.

Yes it is. He uses some of the same things in his screen names such as his name or the year. Go to warhammer.org.uk and he is using the screen name fanatic2011. He is pimping the games club he is in which he does not run. You can look up the number to the building which is a youth center and flood them with calls and emails. Make him uncomfortable for him.

I find it interesting that he has a 100% approval rating on Ebay so why should they throw him out (from their perspective)? Another thing is he has only left feedback for 2 people out of all of his dealings (I won't deal with anyone who can't be bothered to leave feedback for me). I can't believe that so many people would give him positive feedback with all the kerfluffle that he's raised here.
Also note that he is claiming that all of his recent sales are armorcast and not forgeworld products. So by claiming that they are not forgeworld he can avoid problems with them (Until they can show that he is actually using recasts of their products. Then the troubles can start.).

Gw still owns t the 40k armorcast and epicast designs and ip so by saying that they are not forge world does not get him off the hook with gw. By recating and selling them he is as guilty as selling a newly released fw model.

You notice that the 2 people giving him feedback on eBay are saying the same thing in each of their posts and they're short statements (1 word?, it's been a week or so since I looked at his posts). For all we know, it could be him buying things off of himself to raise his feedback. Or selling things locally. We really don't know aside from what we've heard here. And in his messages to Pipboy and others, he's said that he's had an eBay account closed down before because of his mysterious 'brother'.

Also he has sold more than one of the same item with the same picture. I studied the pictures on ebay and I can see where he glued the barrels back on after recasting. I continue to report his armorcast posts with ebay as recasts and ip infringment.

Hello,
Looking at the cannon of Khorne I can see it is a recast just from the photo, the tailend is not in scale with the rest, and the barrel has a horrid displacement with the rest of the cast (at one time I had 2 of these, actual Armorcast ones). That said I think the advert was in french? So I could not figure out how to report it. I am going to try to report it anothe rway, maybe we can get rid of one of this bastards accounts.

Regards,
Carl

Edit: Figured it out, he is reported.

Pipboy101 wrote:I know that this seems odd that I am doing a transaction report on myself but there seems to be an issue with a package I sent to SBU that has not arrived. I want to put it all out for the public to see that everything is being done by both parties to resolve this issue. First of all I want to say that SBU has been the perfect customer with fast payment and quick communication. So, without further adu here is the facts of the case to this point.

On 03/05/2011, I placed an Armorcast Gobsmasha on Dakka Swap to sell. SBU offered $50.00 USD for the vehicle plus shipping. He stated that he had internation shipping from the US for around $14.00 USD lately. I calculated the shipping and he was very close at $14.20 USD. I quoated $64.20 USD and he agreed. The deal was done.

He messaged me that he was having trouble sending the funds via paypal because of conversion from Pounds to Dollars and requested an Invoice. I agrees and sent him an invoice for $64.20 USD which he quickly paid. Since it was too late to ship the package in person with USPS Clerk I attemept to ship at the automated USPS Office near my house in the morning of 03/06/2011. However, I could not ship the item because of USPS Customs regualtions I had to ship with a live person. I informed SBU of this when I got home via PM on Dakka.

On 03/06/2011, I posted an Armorcast Spleenrippa on Dakka Swap to sell. SBU saw this and offered to buy them. I agreed and combined this shipping which I ate as a cost of doing business. Because of the previous conversion issue I sent him an invoice which he quickly paid via Paypal. Once receiving the payment for the second item the two vehicles were packaged together for shipping.

On 03/07/2011, on my first break at work I went downstairs to the USPS Office in the US Govt Federal Building I work in at Kansas City, MO. I normally ship priority mail and do not have much experence with First Class International Mail I asked for a tracking number. The clerk stated that she could not give me one since they do not do it on First Class International (which I confirmed later on the USPS website.) While not too please with this but I still shipped the item to the Address that was Confirmed on Paypal as promised. Once shipped I returned to my desk and sent a message to SBU that they have shipped.

On 03/08/2011, SBU stated in his reply that he would contact me when they arrive.

On 03/26/2011, I was going through my business receipts and notice the receipt for the vehicles I sent to SBU. I remembered that I have not heard from him yet about if the package has arrived. I sent him a PM on Dakka inquiring about the items I had shipped. He stated that he had not received them yet and was about to contact me about them. Since it is the weekend and both the USPS and Royal Post are not open there was not much I could do at this time.

The thought came to me to check the USPS site and see if the Customs Form Number that was on the receipt would provide any information. Here is the response from the USPS tracking system:

Label/Receipt Number: LC95 5960 055U S
Class: First-Class Mail International
Service(s): International Letter
Status: Acceptance

Your item was accepted at 9:51 am on March 07, 2011 in KANSAS CITY, MO 64106. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

The USPS shows that they have accepted the Package that was sent to SBU but that is as far as I am able to check since the Royal Post site is horrible and did not give any information when the customs number was entered.

Here is my evidence that I shipped the item:

What I am thinking that has happened is that the package is being held up by Customs in the UK. According to the USPS site the first step in locating the package is for me to do an international trace with the USPS which I will start tomorrow with the USPS office that I shipped the item out from. This process even from their own website can take awhile.

Since, I have have met all the prerequired evidence needed by Paypal for Seller Protection I do whole heartly request that on the 40th day of the transaction if the items have not been received, please to a Paypal Dispute so you can protect yourself. Since I have done everything that the seller protection in the Paypal User Agreement has stated I am protected and will not lose any money for the missing items. Also, since I did this and if you file before the close of the 45 day window you should receive a refund from Paypal.

The communications between SBU and I have been friendly and informative on this issue. He stated last night that he his going to go to the Royal Post Office and contact Customs with the Customs Office there in the UK to see if this will help. I hope this transaction report will show that not only SBU and I are both doing everything we can to resolve this issue but also show that both sides are trustworthy Dakka members in Dakka Swap. I will gladly do business with SBU at anytime.

P.S. I am requesting any information if there has been a slowdown of items being shipped from the US to the UK. Or is the UK Customs having any issues which could explain the delay in processing toy models?

Without a tracking number, PayPal will refund him via your cash mate.

Take this from a former Ebay Powerseller and someone who had to take PayPal to court.
