=) I've ordered 2 more Rhino kits, and am thinking how i can make them a bit more SoB'ish. I want them to have a good dose of Gothic. And i've been looking for some artwork to try out some crazy freehand madness on top of the Rhino's.

I love the scheme of the army. Simple and striking, very fit for SoB.

Awesome work so far, kuddos !

Slow progress on the tanks. Reason being im trying new things. The immolator earlier in the thread was my first tank, and whilst i was ok with it, the weathering did drive me a bit crazy. I've seen good results from the hairspray technique, and wanted to try it.

The Rhino on the left was the first try, with salt. Lets just say i dont like it much. I put too much salt on, and the tools i used (alot of toothbrush) left the paint damage in massive area's and it was very hard to control. I also disliked the colour coming through once the gold had been chipped off.

The Rhino on the right was my second try which i think is more what i wanted in the first place. I didnt use salt on this one and i darkened the brown undercoat.. I also used smaller tools (toothpick, the tip of a file, and my sculpting tool) to gain alot more control over the marks i was leaving. If i used salt again, i think i could control it alot better, but i think i'd rather not use it at all.

I'm far from mastering this yet but just thought i'd share my experiments into tank painting!

@Seb - Thanks! I'm glad i stuck with this scheme. =)

Your converted sister superiors and cannoness are really cool. Do you plan on adding any repentia to the army?

Thankyou all for comments! I took a small break from sisters to paint up my 6-weekly Dark eldar unit, but will be back working on the tanks tomorrow.

I've built my 2 Exorcists, so the first job is to get the gold and weathering done on those. Then i can continue on all the tank's at once (except Jacobus Rhino). I really like the exorcists turrets!

@Shredsmore Will possibly be adding a Repentia Squad, but it wont be till the end.. =)

The weathering looks ace with the gold, and as I've said, the exorcists are awesome. What's gonna happen with Jacobus' ride?

Sisters are looking excellent dude... not enough love for the girls from GW if you ask me.

Plastic kits and a proper codex would have won me over and I'd have went all out, still, I salute your efforts with the most expensive 40k force anybody could choose!

What kind of points total have you amassed?
