Got in "fine". Granted it took a while to load, longer than usual which was already pretty slow.

Really?
Even using IE6 at work, the site's almost never slow to load for me.
Occasionally, during "peak" periods, it might take a few extra seconds for a PM to send or post to load. That's about it, though.
