Hi All,
Thanks to everyone that could make it, especially Reece and his crew from up North. Thanks also to Levi, he was constantly there letting me know what needed to be done to make the event better, and every time he was right.
Hope you are feeling better Magilla.
Next year we are going to work on making it better and hope to see more of you there.
Any comments to make the event better are welcome...we have a year to fix our mistakes.
Best,
Adam

The Warmachine/Hordes side was great. The turnout was hitting 50 people on saturday for the tourney and the smaller events all had near 20 people each, except the Monday highlander which we hit 14 I believe. Gayle ran all the events well and the prize support for open gaming was a bonus. Of course I did all the tourneys so a lot of the goodies were gone by the time I realized I had to spend my tickets lol.
I met a lot of great people and discovered more good venues that I am already planning on visiting (one as early as this Sunday for the Thou Shalt Game Steamroller). The Marriott was a great place to have it, the food choices around it were plentiful, and the Staff was very professional. Going to try to work it out to get some PG action in Riverside over the next month until we can get a permanent one. Thanks again Adam for the help at the door when I first came Friday night and for hosting a great event.
When I'm fighting a different faction with a different list every game then something has gone wonderfully right!
The only thing I would think about doing next year would be to have a snack vendor inside the Con itself. I may just not have seen it, but it would be awesome just so we can get a small snack between rounds.
Thanks again!

I was kind of disappointed with the turnout for the WHFB tourney (4 people in total) but it was still fine all-around.
However, I would like to mention that the terrain for the Warhammer tables was a bit underwhelming, if anything.
Overall though, fun weekend.

@Cryonicleech we always seam to miss each other even though we hang in the same places. Were you the guy that hung around the 40k tables at the end wearing the orange belt?
@tyczynski I dont have a facebook but my wife does and I've accidently liked and linked wargaming stuff to her page (she still cant get rid of it) and her friends make fun of her too, so I expect a fair amount of teasing from her, its expected. If your getting married get used to it, I'm sure there is something emberassing on her end you could razz her about (Mines freakishly into Hello Kitty
