I was thinking since she follows Khorne, maybe a miniature bloodletter. But that would take me almost as long as the original model in the first place. Maybe I can add it later.

Looks really great so far man! I actually really liked the original with the chainsword on the shoulder, but instead of a pistol in her right hand have it be on her hip. (Both pistol in holster and hand.)

I do have some progress to show, not as much as I would have hoped, but I have been busy, and sick.

I got her flipping the bird! I think it came out well. looking at her from 2 inches away, the hand looks great. But in these pictures, I can see I need to trim down her finger.
I also added some flesh to her forward thigh. I don't know if it's enough, but I think it will have to do.




So, what do you think? I will hopefully get to work on her coat tonight. I'm not going to do too much to her hair until I have her coat done, as I want her hair to flow over the collar and epaulets.

Yes, I agree. It just seems very unprofessional.

This sculpt is really coming along nicely.

Something like a sword/pistol/book would work much better.

As for the hair I think it's good for now, short hair is more practical on the battlefield. It's all going to boil down to the hat she's wearing (and I'd guess it will be a big ostentation one)

I agree that it would be unprofessional for a Commisar, but she has recently declared her devotion to Khorne after decades of hiding her true contempt for the Imperium. In that light, I feel it pretty well sums up her feelings.

However, nothing is set in stone, I might magnetize this hand and allow her to swap this hand out with a las pistol or bolt pistol or something more professional. Who knows?

But aside from being unprofessional and petulant, does the hand look ok? (aside from the fat finger that I pointed out earlier)

You can see that there's a little more curve to the top of the leg- the way yours is now, it sort of dips down to where the boot ends, then comes back up to the knee. It's missing the forward leg muscle there. You can put rather a lot more on top without it looking odd, really. Just go from where that crease is, the one that's right under the bottom of the corset, and curve down to the knee, keeping it a positive curve- that is, more like a ball, less like a cup. Convex.

@Anvildude- I see what you mean. I think I can get a bit more thigh on there. I still wish the model was at least a foot tall though. It'd be alot easier to get at the fiddly bits!

been following this thread with great interrest but since now had nothing worthwhile to say. since you are doing a wonderful job of your own or peeps pointing out things i also would have to say too...for example the tighs and the finger issue...tho i am a more smaller breast kind of guy (like them just a handful only^^) i have to say this is a nice bust indeed and no misstake^^

So I have been following this and something just kept on seeming off. I think it is that hat. It looks like it isn't pulled all the way down onto her head. Maybe the bill is too far down or something. I'm not sure and I know that you are trying to fit the Khorne Icon on there it just looks to be almost the size of her head. Also she seems like she has better things to do (kill, maim, slash) to opponents than flip them off. Other than that the build looks good. I love the idea.

I think the bird looks good, i think it more appropiate for a slaanesh comissar though, maybe if she had a skull in her hand? I personally would love to see her all dolled up (painted) but can't rush a masterpiece. keep it up thought about giving her a slaanesh comissar hat?

@Akroma06- Thanks for posting! The hat does ride a bit high right now. I have been trying to carve out the inside a bit at a time so I don't rip the darn thing apart, but it's slow going. I'm hoping that after I get some hair on her head, it will look more appropriate. If not, I'll either carve it out some more, or make a new one. As for the size, aren't commisar hats usually pretty over-the-top? We'll see how this one turns out. I still like the bird, but I am giving serious thought to magnetizing it and having a Bolt Pistol in her hand, and then, if I am losing, I can switch out the hands.

@alabamaheretic- Thanks, I am already thinking about how I want to paint her. I want to give her a few tattoos, but I am not sure how to go about that. And she is KHORNE! No exceptions!

The head looks great, I'm looking forward to seeing what you will do with her hair. I think her giving the finger is great hehe ( but I don't know fluff) over all she is looking much better. Very impressive.

Thanks guys! I am happy with the head, it was the way to go, I was getting no-where doing it myself. Maybe I will try to do it myself next time.

I have definately decided to magnetize the left hand to have two options, one hand flipping the bird, and another hand holding a ranged weapon, not sure if bolt pistol or las pistol. The right hand will have a Close Combat weapon.

I did some more work to her legs, and I did the Commisarial (sp?) Sash.




She's still on her tip-toes, but she will be getting some high heels when I get closer to being done.

Do her legs look more natural now? I hope so.

She's totally a hottie with those legs man, great job!

Just discovered this thread and this Commisar is coming along very nicely.

Legs are much better. Whut you gonna do about the, well, the crotch area? Thong? Armoured chastity belt? ...Nothing?
