I was responding to very specific jab from an American poster about the situation in 'Ireland' (by which I can only assume he means Northern Ireland), one which has parallels (or potential comparisons) with America's struggle against militant Islam. Northern Ireland is at peace, for the most part. The war on terror is ongoing, with no signs of peace on the horizon, so I'll ask again: How is that Muslim thing working out for you?

Yeah, that was a bit unnecessary for once I think mattyrm said it best, that most first-world country aren't that different from each other at least from a cultural point of view and that US v. UK rhetoric is getting rather
