Wait.. what's wrong with the camera? You bloody control it yourself. Never had any troubles with it. And I've already clocked close to 40 hours on the game.

When I played the demo about a week ago it was very unwieldy. I don't really know how to explain it specifically except it was bad.
I'll see if I can explain it more once my re-download of the demo in 30 minutes finishes.

It does take some Getting used to. I thought at first, that maybe I should have bought it on the xbox. You get used to it after playing for a while, and never give it a second thought at that point.

Ah.. pc players.
Yeah I'm on xbox, though IMO, this style of game works a lot better on consoles. Or at least with a controller.

I played through the demo yesterday, just because I wanted the ME3 stuffs, but the game actually wasn't too bad. But, I have ME3 next on my list, I might look into this one afterwards and get it used.
Had a few graphic glitches though, like ground disappearing or dead bodies that had 1 pixel on their body be 100 miles away so the whole thing got stretched out to infinity. Hopefully they'll fix that by the time I buy it...

From my understanding (based off what others have said), the demo was an unfinished release of the game that EA pushed out, not the developers (who hadn't even planned on doing a demo). As such, the demo wound up be really buggy since the game hadn't been fully bugtested yet.
I've got around 20 hours tucked under my belt in the full game, and I've seen none of those issues yet, so you're probably good to go.

Demo's are almost always at least 3 months old before they get released. That's why I hardly ever play demo's, they don't really represent games that well these days.

I'd play it if the game wasn't so fething ugly.
I really do like the class-combination aspect of it all and combat isn't that bad..but god damn, the game is really, really ugly.
I'd buy it regardless if it revolved around the Forgotten Realms and such in Salvatore's main books, but its not so a pass for me.

A little of both, the menu system has minimal polish (and thus of poor quality) while the artistic style of the game itself isn't to my tastes.

The menu's are fine imo, with the drop down features. Inventory is gak however.
As for artistic style, to each their own I reckon

Inventory was a pita, I agree It's still not the worst though. Mind you, I played the Ultima series so....

My issue with the menu is that it looks like something that took an hour to knock up at tops, perhaps my rage at the inventory system is colouring my views.

Sounds like the DA2 menus I've seen the inventory and I gotta say that is not a particularly user friendly menu.

"other games had worse" isn't a sufficient excuse, eating a bucket of broken glass and rusty nails is probably worse than the menu's of this game yet that doesn't excuse it from being bad.

No, I'm just saying in my perspective it isn't really that bad. Could be better. Certianly not horrendous.

The menu is bad, but then again I rarely go into it lol... I'm trying to decide if I want to stay pure Might, or go Might/Sorcery and attempt that build... i'm enjoying the game a lot though.

I finished the game on pure might, longsword focus.
After I hit level 37, where you have enough points to fully unlock a fate, I went for universalist. All combat masteries unlocked and +3 all skills is to good to pass up. I now have like all but 3 skills fully unlocked.
Blacksmithing does ruin the loot a bit though, if you you max blacksmithing and sagecraft first, you can easily make stuff much stronger then even the unique in this game.

Also, I'm loving pure might... I feel sad for the 6 points I wasted in Sorcery to try the dual destiny...

Quality, not style. The textures are small and the game is just in general ugly.
Style would be like comparing WoW graphics to EQ2 graphics, this games graphics are just plain ugly.

Dunno if I can agree with that, I thought it had some fairly nice design as far as quality goes. Mind you, I never look for Crysis quality graphics anyway....
Though perhaps I should say WoW is by far the uglier of the two while EQ2 is just kinda boring to look at in comparison, hehe.

I might give it to the second tier for the Might/Sorcery Destiny, and if I don't like it (i.e. I'm using quake and harpoon more than I'm using Shock or w/e spell I get) then I'll go pure might... My whole idea with this character is to wear "plate armor" and use Great Swords and Long Swords (I have points in hammers too) and use spells while I'm in between changing weapons, or while I'm beginning a pull... I feel as though I'm tanking on my Paladin on Wow (pulling mobs with my harpoon, etc...) Also, the most fun bit of game design is how things have relative weight... Like I can harpoon a boggart to me, but if I harpoon a Jottun Warrior, I go to him lol, so much fun

My might warrior, was Longsword only, only used Quake and Wrath for spells. Maxing all the passives (and getting as many lore stone sets as you can), you become a complete power house.

I'm finding that true right now with my warrior, who's only level 8... My longsword does so much more damage than my Greatsword (granted I maxed out those perks lol)

Well the problem with greatswords is, they are just to slow. It's made for combatting swarms of enemies, but due to it's speed you'll never be able to finish a swing before one of said enemies jumps you. Where as the longsword is quick enough to stabbity stab everything before that.
