I agree with Dogma to an extent, I definitely dont like to see it at schools, but definitely as an adult, I don't think I'm a bad bloke, but I've bullied people before sure, sometimes unintentionally!

If you are in the crowd at a baseball game and you an another guy catch the ball struck for a homer at more or less the exact same time.. then you best be prepared to bully the fether or your going home ball-less.

The point is that new social hysteria about bullying is our own fault. All you people who told your children that everyone is a winner, and everyone gets a trophy and everyone gets to play two innings whether you are any good or not, and everything has to be fair and the same for everyone are to blame because your kids cannot handle unfair treatment. No one fails and let’s not keep score, and all that really counts is the effort has created a whole generation of Nancy-boys and sick, pathetic little whiners whose parents file lawsuits when their little Capon gets shoved to ground in a playground fight.

Bullies are part of life, the bad part, the part you don’t enjoy. I’m not talking about bullies like the shower scene in the Shawshank Redemption, not criminal aggravated assault, but meanness, irredeemable behavior by socially insecure people who wipe themselves on your dignity.

Yes, it is “inappropriate behavior,” but there’s one thing worse than being treated unfairly _ Being an adult and having no experience at it.

This isnt about a "Everyone is a winner"(which i think is partly a myth, i have see it very little) its abut making sure everyone has a fair chance to be a winner or a looser.

Bullying is bad and should be stopped. This is not the same as saying "everyone gets a prize". If you think bullying is anything but a bad thing you have clearly never sufferd.

If dogma has a personality disorder, I think it's a humorous one, as opposed to serious.

Even if he's being serious (and he is), it's still amusing, if only because certain truths make some people uncomfortable, and therefore outraged.
