@RW - I spy some necro terrain! That's what the plans are for right? I'm really excited to see how that'll work out if so! The metal bit is from Antenociti's Workshop - I can't find it right now, but it's a door opener type thing designed as a small pad for 54mm games - works really well as a bigger terminal for 28mm too
I've got a more detailed pic of the packaging now - including the box bit that I thought I'd thrown away!
And here's how it's all looking so far:
I've never really done much plasticard work before, and it's turning out to be really fun! Feels like I'm kind of pandering to the judge by covering EVERYTHING in rivets, but what can you do Can you tell what it is yet? I'm being a bit mean and leaving out some context, but it's more fun with the teasers

I think Vik is trying to increase the total mass of the -=]_=- by fattening us up.
I'm going shopping tomorrow night in hopes of finding a different style of container. These cups look like cups and I'm not getting my mind bent around any idea on how to make them look less like cups and more like something that isn't a cup. Thought about fuel / chemical tanks, too goofy of a cup shape. Tried cardboard strips w/ rivets, looked like a cup wi/ rivets. Thought about cutting it up and re-gluing it to something that isn't so 'cup-like" but Vik wants the packaging to remain as original as possible.

power turbines I can definatly see out of these.. do you plan on filling them with foam or something, or are they sturdy?

They are more flimsy than the excuse of a man arriving home drunk at 5 am on a Sunday morning.
I thought about filling them w/ something, but before I put that work into it I need to do a full mock-up because I few days ago I thought those cups would be awesome.
