This is a bit out in the weeds of the OP but...

For that to be true, the fluff would have to have had clear number of how many Knight Houses that there were and how many rebelled as well as the location of all of them.

It also precludes, that any Knight Houses have fallen into Chaos in the 10,000 years since the Horus Heresy.

So that won't stand.

I assume that they will have something for Chaos coming along sooner or later.

There is currently 1 traitor house mentioned; House Divine. Which was wiped out.

However, the galaxy is a big place, and there could have been some stragglers that fled with the legion...

Nope, no knights for Chaos I would say, it says in the codex

c. M31 The Death of Traitors
Horus lies dead at the hands of the Emperor. But so high is the cost of victory that many seek
solace in hounding the fleeing traitors across the stars rather than face the task of rebuilding
the shattered Imperium. This campaign of vengeance is known as the Scouring. The surviving
knightly houses with the strength to fight unanimously join in this crusade of retribution.
Believing the honour of the many to be stained by the treachery of the few, the Imperial Knights hunt down the knightly houses that sided with Horus with extreme prejudice, seeking to redeem their tarnished reputation. Filled with righteous indignation, a combinedstrike force of Knights from Houses Cadmus, Terryn and Borgius annihilates the turncoats of
House Devine as Imperial forces reclaim Molech.

So looks like all chaos knights are toast....

Sooo, since the Heresy there is countless Sm Chapters who went Chaos warbands, (Astral Claws, Crimson Sabres and a whole lot more that you can count), There is MILLIONS of Ig regiments who turncoats, but in all of this, there is no Knights who turned since?...

yeah like i will believe this.

because some where killed in the past, it doesn't mean that their will or arn't any since then.

Fluff-wise, of course some of the houses would have turned. You can make a fluff argument for making almost anything traitor (an INQ who thinks that the abomination on the golden throne is trapping the soul of the Emperor, and he and his enlightened faction of SOB intend on destroying the prison so that the Emperor may ascend to his rightful place ruling the IOM).

However, rules wise, you cannot ally Knights with C:CSM. C:SM with pointy bits on them to represent a traitor chapter? Sure. But not C:CSM.
