Hehe. I figure my position in the rumor tracking thread helps keeps me out of ignore lists, not the other way around.

I've only ever used it once, when I was attacked by someone repeatedly, then reported to the mods because I dared to defend myself.

For those of you that ignore anyone that you don't like; how do you handle opinions you don't like offline? Fingers in the ears?

To be fair, I used it a lot, not necessarily for people I didn't agree with but for people who were just trying to be nasty or trolling.

Arm/wristlock and an aggressive stare. Occasionally a threat to get my mates. I live in a notoriously rough area and attend a middle class grammar school.

I think it would be just general nastiness with no real purpose, those looking to "kick the dog" just because it makes them happy.
Mean spirited with intent to cause emotional harm only, no real logical point or perspective to convey.
You could keep them around to toughen you up but this is for leisure time, why bother?
You can troll but you tend to have some purpose so it remains entertaining... on occasion I agree with you to my horror.

Depends. Being a general tool like some people on here? Ignore them in real life, i.e. walk away or just generally be downright cold and unnerving until they leave. I'm a pretty reasonable guy, but if you're gonna be an unreasonable nob, then I'll pretend you died/wish you died

I have 2 people on there. the same two everyone I know in person has on there too.

I still look at the posts every so often, but I dont overly care. Its more annoying that I know what they are gonna say before they say it. I have turned it into a game, where before I click to see what they wrote, I guess what they have said. Usually im right.

That annoys me more than their opinions, the fact that they are so angry about (insert things they are grumpy about) that they sit on the net most of the time and complain to the point where people will just know what they are gonna say.

It bores me, so I made it into a game by using the ignore list.

Overall my internet has improved.

In real life, I would do what normal people do and just not care much. I have a cousin whose mother did things during pregnancy that gave him a mental disability. He has the mind of an 8 year old and has talked about the same few things pretty much his whole life. I shouldnt have to put up with that from, as I understand them to be, normal healthy adults.

- 2 are people that I never read anything remotely useful or even mildly entertaining coming from them
