Hey everyone!
Thanks for all the comments!
I have something new to show off! I have been working on a giant Plague Bearer. So far I have just the main body constructed, I still need to work on the legs and the arms. How I constructd this so far is by rolling up and taping news paper. Then I added paper-mache over the top of it and then lastly, filler over the top of that. The filler gave it a nice nurgly texture, but it was a bit time consuming, covering the whole thing in it which is why a got some modroc for when I make the arms and legs.

Wow, an interesting project indeed. For the next update could you place him beside a regular mini so that we can get a better idea of the scale ?

Cultists, Mutants, Traitors, & Dregs of Society - a Lost and the Damned PLOG
Then suddenly I saw it. With only a slight churning to mark its rise to the surface, the thing slid into view above the dark waters. Vast, Polyphemus-like, and loathsome, it darted like a stupendous monster of nightmares to the monolith, about which it flung its gigantic scaly arms, the while it bowed its hideous head and gave vent to certain measured sounds. I think I went mad then.

I have made some progress on my giant Daemon, it now has legs! I started off by making some small holes on either side of the body, to insert bamboo sticks, which will keep the legs rigid. I constructed the legs separately, using toilet roll tubes and news paper as a base, then modroc over the top of them to make them nice and strong. Then I inserted the other ends of the bamboo sticks in to the legs and added modroc over where the body meets the legs.
The legs look a little weird at the moment because the points at which they join to the body are a bit close together. But that will be covered up once I bulk the belly up more and add the guts spilling out of it. Also the legs look much better when the model is standing up rather than lying down.

Thanks! Scale shots will be coming up.

Thank you. I was planning to, but with the legs added, it currently stands at 28" which makes it a bit oversized for a great unclean one. I think it's roughly the same size as a Warlord.

Thanks. I used paper mache because it's cheap, light weight and surprisingly strong. I'm planning on using it as a Warlord Titan. It's as big as a Warlord Titan. I just have to figure out a way to incorporate the Warlord's weapons in to the model.

Made some progression on the Nurgle Warlord. I have added to the stomach as well as the area between the thighs to make the legs look more natural and less close together. I reckon that he's looking a lot better now. Once the front is completely dry, I can start building up the back as he is lacking a spine and a butt!

Hey people! I have a brand new update!
I have started work on basing my Plague Demon. So far, what I have done. is cut out a rectangle of board and nailed some willow sticks to it.
Then I threaded the legs on to the willow sticks....
There's still a lot of work that needs to be done, to keep it on the base. Unfortunately, even with the willow sticks providing a bit of support, the model still wants to lean backwards, which could break the legs off. So I'm planning on using some metal wire to give it some more structural integrity so the whole thing should stay put and not rip off it's base.

Hey man ! the titan is starting to look gory ^^ , nice to see that this project is still going strong.
Regarding lack of answers, do not formalize yourself, I think it happens to any blog once in a while, and summer probably is not helping. Any particular reason you switched to video though ? It does help to realize some details, but on another hand might make you loose some views...
Keep it up !

Thanks, I'll keep on going. I still post photos, but videos are a bit more time efficient .

Painted up a Chaos Space Marine Icon bearer for my Warhammer 40k army. This miniature is one of the older metal Games Workshop miniatures. I think that it might even be out of production now.
Anyway, I had fun painting this miniature. He may be carrying a Khornate icon, but he decided to switch Gods, that's why he is painted up in my Nurgle army colours.

Thanks Automatically Appended Next Post: Hello everyone! I have been working on some Spider Riders for my Goblin army. These are actually some old models, I had lying in my bits box, so I thought that I would try to salvage and restore them the best I could so that they can be used in games. Here is what I have done so far...
I had been busy filing away old glue and bits and pieces stuck to the spiders, clearing them up, ready for some paint. I also re-glued the riders back on to them. The leader of the squad didn't have a spider, so instead I decided to use an old, broken, plastic bee toy I had lying around. It's bigger than the spiders, so it's quite fitting for the boss. I just have to build some wings for the bee...
Also, I cut out some more bases out of MDF for the models, as I only had one spare plastic base. Once the bases were cut out, I painted them, added sand and painted them again, to seal in the sand.

Hello everyone! I have been working on Spider/Bee-riders for my Goblin army. I detailed the wings of the bee with some hot glue and begun painting them. The wings look a bit crude, considering it's just card and hot glue, but they look better than I was expecting them to turn out and they are not even finished yet. Hopefully they'll look okay once they are completely done. In my defence it is my first attempt at scratch building insect wings, and they are pretty hard to get looking right on a model because if you look at a real insect's wings, you can see that they are very complicated and detailed.
I have also given the bee and the base a drybrush of white and then a black wash over it. Next I'll start working on the fine details to make it stand out and also working on the rider.
I have dry brushed the spider riders with some white paint as well. They are looking pretty messy at the moment, but once I start getting some more paints and washes on them, they should look good.
Thanks for reading!

Hey people, I thought that I'd write an update detailing where I am at with my projects. I have most of my wargaming stuff painted up, I just have a few squads to finish up. As for the Nurgle Titan, it's slowly getting there, sculpting is nowhere near finished, but progress on it has been made. I'll post up some pics soon.

Hey everyone! I have been working on a few bits and thought I would just show how they are coming along.
Here's the Goblin riding a giant bee model that I'm working on for my Goblin army. I had a bottle cap with a bee on it lying around and thought that it is fitting for this miniature. I was originally going to use the bottle cap as the Goblin's shield but it was a bit too big for that, so I decided to turn it in to an icon/banner instead, using some plastic rod as the pole. So far I'm pleased with how it's looking.
As you can see, I have used a spare Goblin to make it look as though he's holding the icon. Also, the Goblin adds support to the banner so it doesn't snap off.
Next up is the Khorne Warp-Talons. They are coming along pretty nicely. I have finished getting the basic colours down on to three of them and have also added some layers of ink to those three to add some depth. I'm actually planning on giving them a coat of red ink next, because the theme I want to try to portray with these guys is that they are soaked in blood. Warp-Talons are supposed to come crashing down in to the enemy ranks, causing fear and terror amongst the enemy, so I thought that making the Warp-Talons look as though they are soaked in the blood of their enemies would be appropriate for causing fear. Also it would be appropriate considering that they are dedicated to Khorne, the god of blood, skulls and violence!

Thanks for the comments.
The big demon titan started falling apart. I have spent long enough on it to realise it's not worth wasting any more time on it, so the project is now scrapped. I'm not a competent enough scratch-builder, so I'll think I'll just stick to assembling and converting actual model kits from now on.
