More news, better pics.
Talking of Primaris Space Marines, adding these enhanced warriors to your Chapter (Blood Angels, Dark Angels or otherwise) is about to get a lot easier thanks to some new Easy to Build kits. If you’re a fan of flamers (and who isn’t?), the Easy to Build Primaris Aggressors are for you, while the 12 piece – that’s right, only 12 – Redemptor Dreadnought allows you to get some heavy armour on the tabletop in no time.
And for the filthy heretics:
Grandfather Nurgle will be providing for his children this Christmas as well. Isn’t he generous? New Easy to Build reinforcements are on the way for the Death Guard – and yes, the Myphitic Blight-hauler is among them! This little guy possesses the same grotesque, whimsical charm as the rest of Nurgle’s children, combined with some terrifying firepower. It will be joined by a boxed set featuring three new Blightlord Terminators and a new Lord of Contagion wielding a manreaper – perfect for adding some disgusting diversity to the elite of your Death Guard army.
All these kits cost less than their fully customisable alternatives, meaning they’re a great way to build an army on a budget, too.

Well...those are some of the worst looking Nurgle/Deathguard models I've seen from GW - ever. Miles worse than anything released yet.
Maybe you can convert them, but Christ those terminators are simply garbage. The Dark Angels lieutrenant is a bit herp-da-derp as well.
The Primaris easy build kits look okay and the Blight Hauler is okay.

Initial speculation was that is a dual kit with the drone, but that didn't turn out true.
It's in the codex, but has no weapon options.

It indeed is, which is weird since in the codex it is not optional...

I wager that once you've done shopping bits to properly arm this thing, you might as well have bought the multipart kit in the first place.

Just like the minimum unit size for Blightlords is 4+Champion, the easy to build sets aren't always legal (like how if you add the 3-man Easy to build PM box to the DI Plague Marines you end up with 2 champions)

It is quite a bit differnt for the unit composition not be legal than a whole model being illegal.
Though no doubt this will come a dataslate with this exact gear. But then you for example cannot switch the flamer, as that's not an option without also having the missile pod. The aggressors look nice, I just wish that they radically reduce the cost of the flamer variant in the Chapter Approved as they currently are just way worse than the bolter ones. I'm not sure the dread is salvageable, it come with bad gear and that undercut at the shoulder looks really dire.

Like all the other easy build stuff that wouldn't otherwise be legal it's going to come with a data sheet where it is
so don't worry about that bit
that i',m most interested in is whether the 3 blight lords will be allowed on their own or only as 'bodyguards' for Lord Smileyman

Truthfully, I think some might be looking at this the wrong way with regards to "It's not legal!" on the Death Guard.
It's a new Lord of Contagion with Plaguereaper and three new Blightlord Terminators with static loadouts at $40.
He'd be $40 by himself going off of Typhus' price.
If you were to buy this set plus a box of Blightlord Terminators, you'd have some extra Blightlords you can swap in for specific loadouts. It opens up a bit more of the Blightlords box for you to build things how you want.
It also opens the door for an "Easy Build" Primaris Captain in Gravis Armor with a different pose and Easy Build Aggressors with the alternate build and a set of "Easy Build" Blightlords down the road.
