If that was aimed at me, then this will be the third time I've watched the series all the way through. The first time I watched it was back when it was first shown in the UK on Cartoon Network's Toonami. A few years ago, I was going through a phase of looking up old TV shows that I didn't exactly understand when I was watching them, and Gundam Wing was one since I wasn't really into politics at the age it was on TV. So I watched it on youtube, but there were a few parts of episodes missing. So now I've got it all on DVD, and I'm watching it through again. Next to Doctor Who and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, it's one of my most favourite television series ever.
The Kasrkin were just men. It made their actions all the more astonishing. Six white blurs, they fell upon the cultists, lasguns barking at close range. They wasted no shots. One shot, one kill. - Eisenhorn: Malleus

Anyone else think Gunslinger Girl was a bit... odd? I mean, maybe it's the fact I've hung around with real Italians, but the characters all REALLY seem like Japanese people transplanted to Italy.
Maybe it just sticks out to me more than usual.
The first season of Gunslinger Girl was amazing, I personally loved it. I love shows where things go horribly wrong and everybody gets fethed over or dies ( ideon, V Gundam, Legend of the Galactic Hero's, Elfen Lied, Genocyber) as I keep saying poor poor Claes and Angelica =o\
I haven't watched Claymore, but if everyone gets horrible killed or fethed over I might have to check it out.
Just finished watching Space Fantasia 2001 Nights, wow, I can not recommend this enough to people. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Now I want to try and find the manga's somewhere.

A more adolescent me was intrigued at the DVD case and description looking like a cute family-oriented show, then looking at the rating and seeing "TEEN+ for Excessive Nudity." I watched a bit, but it never really clicked with me, and was really a bit creepy for all that.
