Thanks all for the comments, really appreciate it.
@Graven Nurgle always needs some new recruits
@Not Online, I think that makes it 46 cultists since I started this project. Never thought I would want to paint that many but they have so many interesting models have not got tired of them yet.
@Youwashock thanks.
@Midget Gems thanks for stopping by, glad you like the jump lord. I am hoping he will see some action this Wed night.
@Viterbi no judgement here, I think your stuff is great! Pretty sure the young one would not understand what it was anyway.
@Gobert and Captain Brown thanks guys!

I am getting low on chaos, may have to look thru the eldar bits and start a new.
Thanks for looking.

The red mask on the first flamer guy is awesomely creepy. It makes him look more menacing. The heavy stubber dude's mask is pretty grim, too. Nice work.

Onwards to the ancient Aeldari. Put together one of the new Banshees from Blood of the Phoenix. These are great looking models but so different than all the chaos I’ve done lately. May have to buy a new brush for all the little details.

Wish me luck and thanks for looking.

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys. So here is a pic of early WIP. I am going with the standard GW palette of colors.

Thanks Youwashock. Blending up the colors next, I am pretty happy with the armour and hair but the green... Should I tone it down? Any CC appreciated.

Mostly, on my phone.

Really digging that. The bone armour looks excellent, great transitions and shading.

Model looks great! Wouldn't tone the green down, it really complements the red hair. A darker green would probably spoil the effect.

I meant to say, I really like the green; maybe, however, bring out the top highlights on the hair?

Nice Banshee.
A bit more grimey look then many would give their Space elfs.
I like it.

The banshee looks good! I also like the green, but since you're asking, I'm in favour of toning it down. Or perhaps you could make it bluer, so it doesn't contrast as much with the red hair.

The green is a beautiful deep emerald, I like it. The one and red are great as well.

I like the green, I’d maybe even go as far to say give it another brighter highlight. But then I like my minis all 2nd Edition garish!

It looks good as is, but if anything, as another "make it bright and garish" painter, if anything I'd add a bit of brighter highlights to both the green cloth and the red hair.

I want to thank you all for your input, looks like the bright green stays. Sorry Pomander Cask thanks for commenting though really made me think about that blue.
Going to brighten up the hair some more, a bit more orange and perhaps one more edge highlight on the cloth. Will post when I get a chance to put some paint down.

Thanks again for all the help!

First Banshee done. The pictures don’t really show it but her hair is a bit more orange on top and the edges. Going to try and speed up the process so I can get them on the table soon.
Again thank you for the input and help.

I like the grimy look better. It looks more appropriate for a Close in fighter. This Green was a good selection.

Ok looks like she is a go for the rest of the unit. Started on the second one, armor and sashes done, onto the hair and weapons next. Since I have the outline done this next one is getting done a little quicker. Not going to be able to game for 3 weeks so I should have the unit done and Jain Zar done for the next time.

Thanks for looking
