Whatever the Stormcast is, it seems to be a 'named hero'--specifically one referred to as "Blacktalon, Sigmar's chosen assassin".
Blacktalon seems to have a similar build to the Vanguard-Hunters, who really don't have a character that specifically ties to just them like the other variants have gotten
Why do assassins always have names like Blacktalon? Why are they never called Jessica or Philip?
Good Question. Maybe the name Philip doesn't scare much of the enemies. "Sir we have word Philip has managed to enter our Fortress." "Which Philip? The Cook, the Guard or the hand maiden?" No sir, Philip the Assassin" - damn, nope hasn't the same feeling to it unless in a Monty Python film.

I really like how experimental AoS is getting with the stuff outside of the game itself. You've got the big narrative campaign books, matched play, open war cards, skirmish, path to glory, and now Firestorm. There's really enough there for even a small group of players to have a wide variety of different matches and experiences.

Seems like the Stormcasts are pulling back into more of a supporting team.
I'm hoping the mortals start gaining ground, chaos backs off, and we can get to something a little more recognizable to old Warhammer than the Realmgate War stuff.
I know the Old World is gone, but the Realmgate stuff got a bit tedious to me.

Damn GW don't let up, artwork is sick, I love how the street light is a giant  Stormcast statue, also is that a dryad just walking around too? This is why I love each realm (planet) being so different, you end up with cool themed collaborations of the different citizens in each realm.
I'm not really too fond of the Dwarves at the moment after they backstabbed me in Total War and hindered my assault on Marienburg to finally stabilise the Empire for the coming Northerners, utterly sneaky bearded goblins.

Well these are all nice surprises
Looks like Black talon is a Vanguard Hunter hero. I wonder if she will be an actual named special character or just the fluff example of this particular type? Hopefully she will take a leaf out of the Primaris characters book and have the option of a helmed head as well as the bare one shown in the video. Either way another female Stormcast is a welcome addition. Now if only GW(or even FW) would make some femcasts that could be mixed in with the existing units....

I think its great they keep releasing stormcast untill they get it right.
Both vanguard hunters and raptors looks far better than the first guys they released 2 years ago, and the lord Aquilor is by far the most solid hero sculpt in the lineup.
If they do a more slender asassin type now Im only pleased they move yet another step in the right direction.

I agree the Stormcast are looking better and better each release, however I'm a little disappointed that those three new boxes are pushing more Stormcast on us. Im sure the price of those boxes will be pretty reasonable, but sadly I have no desire to have even more Stormcast sitting around I dont want.
