That daemon is EXACTLY how I envisage a Keeper of Secrets should look like after reading the High Elf Book and seeing the pic of the phoenix king fighting one.

I hope it is the same size as a greater daemon as I can't stand the bondage, cone headed GW model.

Also, those greatcoat vets are MUCH better than the regular greatcoas guys. Much more natural looking. Good job.

I really hope those Greatcoat Veterans will be affordable. With basic greenstuff skills, I don't think I have seen a better (affordable) model to use as basic Admech Skiitari.

I also love the realistically proportioned look of those Greatcoats. It makes them look appropriately humbled by power armored models.

Love the Lobster, but I'm really loving the Commander and Priest - can see them being used for anything from members of my Adeptus Arbites to Inquisitorial members...

You know what?

Its not that bad. I mean sure its a bit gross, and something you dont want to see whilst eating lunch, but its actually shaping up to be a decant sculpt.

I'll even go as far as saying im tempted to buy some of those trolls; they'd be great (if not scarring) display pieces.

Trolls shouldn't be looking attractive, they are nasty creatures. A female troll thus shouldn't be sexy looking or anything like that, unlike all females in the Warcraft universe who all seemed to have been "sexified" (one of the reasons why I don't play WoW). I'm very curious how the troll will be like!

Depends on which interpretation of the Hrud you're going for. The space rats or the Creature From The Black Lagoon.

However, we're slowly trying to move away from filling the gaps of the GW's ranges, there are plenty of other companies who are doing that just fine.

Trollforged unique gear looks a lot better the GW gap filling stuff. I keep my eyes open to anything you guys do.

A small update on the trolls, no pics sorry! Ed is planning to sculpt a pregnant troll as well and add some troll offspring into the mix...

I've done a little more detailing on the cannons. Aside from a few rivets, I think I'm ready to call the cannons finished...




I also fine-tuned the details on the chin-turret machine gun, and filled the hollow space inside with green stuff, to make it more resilient when casting in a pressure mold.

Still not struck on the Dagan. Then again I don't like anything half height in space so...

The walker is very interesting.

A preggo troll. And troll children. Fair enough, thats pretty cool in a weird kinda way.


Ahh you going to make lotsa races in family groups or somesuch, cos it'd be cool to have a family group of minotaurs.

We were just brainstorming about the trolls working together in families sort of speak. I think Ed prefers them just sticking together for no real "complex" reasons, which you can kind of read in the last 2-3 pages (pages 8-10) in the thread on Ed's trolls.

As for other races and their families, I doubt it, I guess the minotaurs will all be adult males, big scary creatures.

Ahhh shame, i thought the idea had some real scope to it.
