The Dagan helmet... too small compared to the heads. Needs room for beards!

When I look at the body, I imagine something reminiscent of an early diving helmet. Very round, with small viewports.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Malika, I really agree with Fellblade - that Dagan helmet is WAY too small - would not accept the Squ...I mean, Dagan's head, let alone his or her beard. Looks very out of proportion.

Really starting to worry about this troll stuff...I mean, pregnant trolls? Surely you're looking at fairly small demand there from wargamers?

why not remake the dagen helmet into some sorta gasmask? it would bulk out the helmet, which is a plus.

And maybe i want a preggo troll !

Okay, Ghosty...now you're worrying me...

I'd ask what you'ld do with a "preggo troll", but the mind boggles as to the responses...

Nothing worrying in the slightest i assure you

Im just saying, TFM is a collective of sculptors who sculpt stuff they want to sculpt, and if said sculptor likes to make trolls, then shame on you for putting him down.

And secondly, the troll miniatures are totally kickass, so i have no qualms about the preggo troll provided its to the same good quality.

Great new stuff, fellas.

I do have one bit of constructive criticism: Icesword's greatcoat guard are really nice, except for the silly round goggle-eyes. Combined with the rebreather cylinders they have a truly comical effect. Redesigning the eyewear in a visor style would go a long ways towards making them both less silly and more anachro-futuristic. Plus the goggle-rings aren't that evenly formed in the firstplace.

Pull those off and you have really great minis. Leave them on and it's Greatcoat Aardvarks in Spaaaaace!

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

What Snavock said. Without those eyepieces, they'd be ace minis. With them, they're just comical.

Have to agree. The eye-rings are comical.

And the Dagan's helmet is too small for his head.

About the fishmen, I think Kyte will keep on doing them, but I don't know anything more than that at the moment.

As for the great coats, Icesword wasn't too happy with the heads, I guess he will redo them.

Icesword is still working...

The gas masks are more influenced by the WWII era Russian gas masks, hence the design:
WIP's, still not finished gas mask heads yet. cannister still to be finished.

I really like the way the "Commissar" and "General" are turning out - look fantastic, and will be on my "to get" list when finished - will be joining my Arbites as officers or commanders.

The preacher is looking good too, but still seems a little scrawny in the arms...or is that an intentional effect to show age etc.?

Everything else is looking good (not a fan of the big hats, would probably be the first thing I'd ditch in a real combat zone , but they're very eye-catching...which is why I'd ditch 'em!)

The only critique of the samurai at this stage is that the blade must still be a WIP? Unless the sculptor is going to represent a "non-traditional" sword of some type?

The blade is still very much WIP, no worries there!

As for the priest, I think the scrawny arms are kinda meant to be like that, he is more or less anatomically correct, not every human has the same proportions and muscular bodies. There are skinny and scrawny fellows too!

I think they're coming along great! So much better than the older scifi greatcoats.

Now, the second crewman also looks ver. promising.

Cant wait till the tervigon is on the shop

Thanks Mal - point noted about the "scrawniness" - wonder how I'd go painting him up appropriately aged, to fit the build, as an Imperial priest or preacher...

I like the arms on the Imperial priest/preacher. I cant imagine him pumping iron between prayers. It's nice to know that not every single member of the imperium is the exact same.

By the way, Rikard has been working on some new stuff over here, note that these models aren't for TFM. However, he wants to know if there are any requests/preferences for his next postapocalyptic/cyberpunk ganger.

So yeah, what would you like to see on the next ganger?

I was just contemplating. If i had a choice, id love to see a rasta ganger with a tophat. That's just me though.

A cool option for a ganger would be one with a heavy weapon? Like a chaingun, or a heavy stubber.

Some updates on the WIPs:

Wormwood is working on his large alien monster again, he has changed the legs:

Ikim started working on some female soldiers:

And a small message from Nathonicus:
Sorry for the long delay, in between family and some other projects that have come up, I've been slow to sculpt and slower to post, but here's more pics at last.

Ok, guys, I'm thinking of calling it done and moving it over to the submissions forum, but pics here first.

When I post it in the voting forum, I'll include pics of 2 soft cap hads and one fur cap head. The tech head I am going to save for a more armored variant that will also have head-gear for the mount.

What do you guys think? More tweaks?

Thanks for your comments,

N
