Been sculpting all day... lots of "invisible" work done. The turtle is almost ready but if I ever try to make a 2-handed battle stance again... just kick me guys...

The work on Don is closing to an end so I made some more pics for you. When I finish the palms gripping his Bo-staff it'll be all I suppose.

Any CC?

Turtle power!

He's looking great. My only comment is his wrist looks larger than his forearm. But I'm not a good judge of turtle anatomy.

Nice work on Donatello. He was always my favourite turtle when I grew up with the original cartoon. Not seen any of the new 'toon but your's matches the pictures perfectly.

Yes.

Back row left, the "Foot Clan" with Shredder and some Mouser bots. Back row right, Triceratops Aliens and Turtles with blasters. Front row, Casey Jones, Turtles, and Splinter. They've taken abuse and are missing pieces, especially as they are made of lead and are VERY TINY. The tallest miniature barely hits an inch, with the Turtles being about a half inch tall.

That is correct. They were part of the Palladium Games TMNT RPG system.

Today I draw a quick sketch of Itzcoatl's headgear

And I encountered some images of real life Itzcoatl, the 4th Aztec emperor

headgear looks good... specially the mix of bird and snake....

aztecs are known for their hybrid gods...

and the logis... well sort of stamp like...the ruler part would only be seen in bigger versions of the logo as in smaller (letter heads and so on) it would break down in print...

but essentially not really likeing them... (sorry^^)

Thanks for comment Vik,

I'm currently choosing from sun symbol and snake head; both seem interesting but this headgear is supposed to be a variation of psychic hood so a deity symbol might be more appropriate.

As for the logo - nothing to be sorry for, it's a search and I'm not super fond of this "find" either.

Some more WIPs btw. Looks like I finally got those darn hand pieces together and at place,

Cheers guys, Aztec head coming soon!

The drawing kind of reminds me of Satrgate I have the idea stuck in my head that it transforms into a closed helmet as well.

As for the logo I to preferred the earlier versions, but I am sure you will chose what looks best

As for the Turtle he is looking COWABUNGA !!!!!!!! nice posing sorry for the lame reference

@ LDD & Vik
Thanks guys! The turtle hands are just a base to know where actually to sculpt things

I'm finally ready to show the Aztec head, but sorry for crappy pics: smartphone + bad light I feel like it's ruining the impression =( But can't do any better atm so have to deal with that, just remember that it looks way better my side of the screen =)

Dufferent angles and the original concept

With torso to get the idea of how it fits and feels

Hope you like it, as I really do, considering it's my first attempt at human faces...

Great work storag, I really like the head, the longer proportion of the face is a great difference than all of GW similar featured faces (except the scouts which are crap!).

It looks quite good. A little long but thats a matter of taste.

Agreed.

At the moment sans headgear it makes me think about the Lord Inquisitor animation.
