[Sam looks up from the kitchen table where he's helping CBC cut his food] ...Yeah sure, celebrate. I'm sure half the folk in the med bay feel particularly jolly right now.
[Commissar looks up in surprise and then sadness at Sam's reaction]

[Perron basically follows Gharn like a curious demonic kill-cam]

*Gharn comes across a pair of large bucks. He spends over 3 hours patiently stalking them before pouncing when they least expect it. A brief struggle later he has two large bucks. He grins, hoists them and starts walking back*

People may be walking out of that hospital, but it's not some fairytale ending for everyone just because it's Christmas. Folk lost parts of themselves, physically and internally this week...
Go ask Denny or Verdai how festive they feel.

[Commissar looks up at Sam, and then at his own injury, and closes his eyes in guilt] ...

*Gharn goes to a corner of the kitchen, pulls out a massive cutting board and starts to skin and clean the deer*

*Gharn looks over at the twins and Yvette, then continues his messy work (Is back in humani form, and didn't bother to pick up the shirt on the way back as it'd get stained anyways)*


*Dria proves to be better at decorating and Morgan better at the actual baking*

I'm... serious, actually. There's some sort of iridescent black liquid in my stomach that keeps blinking in and out of reality. I think it may be because I ate food in the Fade. I'm sure it's not an actual issue, though. It's getting smaller gradually.
