*Power walks out of the kitchen, and hurriedly runs towards the door of the room*

*Rita maintains her weak smile.*
Rita: Not much to talk about, he just... I don't know.. I really just don't know.
*She looks at the remote, and starts flipping through channels.*
Rita: It's hard to explain it... we may share haves of each others minds... but he still doesn't communicate..

*Santiago stands up and picks Joalia up with him*
S: (Let's go.)
*carries Joalia out of the theater*

[Yvette looks delighted and then a little surprised] ...Did I upset Amy?

[Yarrick looks over] I doubt it, or she'd have told you. [Smiles] [Looks out of kitchen door] ... [Looks privately troubled]

[Perron scratches chin] Grief is complex. Sometimes we think we should be coping, and the body disagrees. But drugs, magic, science, they can't fix that. [Puts hand on Verdai's] And it's no failing of yours if you're struggling. That's your first obstacle. Stop viewing yourself as at fault.

It's... difficult not blaming myself. If both science and... blatant black magic and sorcery, let's be honest, can't fix an issue, I'm terrified by what is necessary to fix it.

*Iris walks over to Yarrick and Yvette*
Iris: Hello you two! How are you both doing?

[Yvette looks confusedly at Iris, then back at Wade, and mouths Why is she ignoring you?] [Smiles and waves back]

[Yarrick nods and then grabs one of the leftovers subs and leaves the kitchen] [Sits in the main room and reads quietly]

[Perron smiles] Time, Verdai. And allowing yourself to process things. Most humans treat grief as any other wound, and yes they do get through it.
Grief is a reminder love exists, it serves a profound purpose.
I know it's not the answer you want, but you have to stop and let yourself actually rest. Nobody will think any less of you.

*Rita nods to to Gharn.*
Rita: I.. hope you are right, Gharn..
*Still maintains her weak smile.*

...Gak. You mean I can't skip through the pain? I just need to... relax? I can't work on learning Lovecraftian Magic, or figuring out the rules to extradimensional anomalies, or... build things? I have to actually take a break?
...What does one do on a break? And do I have to find love again? It was difficult enough the first time...

Leo: Lets go get something to eat. I'm starved.

*Joalia whimpers in Santiago's arms, but wraps her tail around a seat to prevent Santiago from carrying her out*
Joal: (I want to stay...)
*Crying slightly from fear*

*Scatty looks surprised and grins teasingly*
Scatty: Starved? After the feast yesterday? Well alright then...
*Pulls on her boots, slings her twin sheathes over her shoulders and stands ready*
Scatty: Lead the way.


*Gharn group hugs*
Gharn: Exactly, you are strong, and you will be fine

*Santiago looks down at Joalia and raises an eyebrow*
S: (Are you sure? I didn't plan for this. I wanted you to enjoy yourself.)

*Rita returns the hug, and holds her weak smile.*

*She settles on the science channel.*

*Nods and continues hugging Rita and Gharn*

*Looks at the screen, screams again, then looks back again*

*Amelia flies into the forest, and towards a village*
*Finds some evil-dooer or something, swoops them, and drains them after a quick scuffle*

*Leo looks a little self conscious*

Leo: I... I get hungry fast.

*Leo leads Scatty into the kitchen*

*Rita finally breaks the hug, and awkwardly scratches her back.*
Rita: Thank you guys...
*She smiles at them both, and motions to the Tv.*
Rita: Okay... let's watch some Tv or something...

[Perron blinks] You don't have to give up doing everything, just take it easy. Have a rest.

[Sam is sat in a tree in the outskirts of the forest] [Looks thoughtful]

*Smiles at Rita, then moves up the bed*
*Continues lying down and watching T.V.*

*Amelia is a messy eater this time, and gets blood nearly everywhere on her*

*Gharn nods*

*Sits crosslegged on the bed*


*Scatty raises her eyebrows*
Scatty: Okay, another thing we don't share. I need to eat maybe once every couple of days

*Rita finds Die hard 2, and plays the movie.*
Rita: Here we can watch the sequel to Die Hard.
*She settles on the bed, sitting cross legged.*
Rita: Sound good?

*Santiago kisses Joalia's forehead and sits down again, with Joal in his lap*
S: (You don't disappoint me. You can never do that.)

*Gharn rubs his hands together and smiles*
Gharn: If it is anywhere near as good as the first one, then yes.

[Perron salutes Verdai] Come back soon, yeah? It's an open offer.

[Sam drops from the tree and enters the room] [Looks for Malcoy and by extension, Kara]
