OOC: To be entirely honest here, I don't actually own a single model for Warhammer 40k. Being only in high school (so lack of a decent source of income) and the area I'm in is rather low on GW stores or players. I could get my friends into it, but there is still the cost problems, so for the meantime I can only partake in books and discussions of 40k. Tis a sad life, but I've already been making plans to take the plunge and get into stuff. (Granted, it will still be awhile before anything really happens about it though).

OOC: Damn son, I feel bad for ya. In my secondary school (high school for the USA), we had a warhammer club that was run by one of the Design and Technology teachers. About six tables and a large cabinet of handmade terrain... Good times. Haven't been able to get consistent games since, despite working in the damn place.

OOC: I was in the same boat man... I honestly didn't get into 40k till after high school (I am 23) But what I will say is I got into warhammer fantasy roleplay and deathwatch which is alot cheaper and fun! If you have a group of friends who don't mind idiot math, you can have your own 40k experience you wont be commanding armies but you can always have a fun narrative.

Also when you get a job and money go to ebay everything there is in a better price range.
