*Rita's eyes widen at the CGM, and remembers its blast attack. She quickly scrambles away before the ball of purple energy hits.*
*She cloaks herself, and runs towards Izriel and Gharn.*

*Continues dragging Gharn away from the fight*

*Maiev shakes her head, and sends a wave of fire towards the dragon*
M: Kara?! Do we run?

*Horus moves forwards to engage the monster*
Horus: Get her out of here!


*Gharn is still passed out*


*Iris smiles*
Iris: Well I'm glad you had fun.

*Dragon's scales absorb the heat momentarily before it howls in pain and alters it's course to stomp towards the group, the Fel fire still burning around it*

*Kara's eyes widen and she shakes her head*
K: Banish it! We have to! It can't stay!
*points at a crevice in the wall behind the dragon (which was revealed as it moved forwards) which holds a car-sized green crystal with a torrent of energy swirling around it*
K: Get me there, we can end it.

*Boran growls*
B: Horus, we distract the beast. Miss Maiev, get Miss Kara where she needs to.

*Sighs and sits down on a couch*

*Cut off by Verdai appearing in a teleport flare, in the center of the Room*

*Horus yells back*
Horus: Great! Banish it! Now how do I do that?!
*Nods to Boran*
Horus: Sounds good, you take left, I'll go right


*Iris shakes her head*

*Jumps as Verdai teleports*

*Rita runs up to Izriel and Gharn.*

*She stops suddenly, and smells Gharns blood.*
Rita: Maybe it is best I cover the escape...

*Leo roars at the CGM and fires another fireball at it*

*It barely flinches*

*Leo uses this opportunity to sprint into the forest with Blue*

*The CGM looks around and roars triumphantly at the fact it got the trespassers off its turf*

*Troll hears the scream and walks into the main room*
RT: Humanses fighty fight?

*Boran nods and charges the left flank, using his Phase knife and biomancy to cut his way through the Dark Spawn*
*occasionally fires biolightning at the dragon to keep its attention, and the dragon breathes fire at him in return, disregarding any DS caught in the blast*

*Kara retrieves her sword, but holds it with her left hand*
K: We need to move, fast.
*sets off towards the crystal while trying to ignore the burning sensation that consumes her entire arm*

*Miritas yelps*

Doctor. Did my drone get lost? It seems to have vanished. And Iris. Hello, it's good to see you. I'm finally feeling... somewhat better. Finally had time to vent.

*Nods, and keeps dragging the kitty*

*Blue chirps, and looks back at CGM*

*Maiev gets a arm around Kara's shoulders, and starts helping her to the general direction of the thingy*

*Gharn withers and shrinks back to his humani form, the knife in his gut doesn't shrink and makes the wound even worse*

*Horus fights like a monster towards the..monster*
*He hacks and slashes, and is generally awesome*


*Iris laughs*
Iris: No, it's fine don't worry about it, you just startled me
*Smiles*
Iris: Hello, glad you're feeling better.

*Taeria finishes with Ciri and kisses her lovingly*
Taeria: I love you...
*Taeria smiles and nuzzles Ciri *

Oh, good. I'm sorry. I really need to get rid of whatever mechanism causes the flash. Perhaps replace it with... a soft pinging noise.

*Miritas nods and waits her turn, because I'm not writing two people talking to the same person*

*She pulls Taeria into a tight embrace, and nuzzles her lovingly.*

*Rita follows after Izriel, making sure CGM isn't following the party.*
Rita: Let's get him to the medbay.
*They quickly make it back to the medbay.*

*Troll grumbles and sits down again*
RT: Humanses boring! Trolly forest fighty!

*Kara gladly leans against Maiev and clenches her sword tightly*
*One particularly tall Dark Spawn stands in the pair's way and hisses at them before raising a claymore and charging at them*

*Dragon snaps its teeth at Horus while batting at Boran with its tail*
There is still time to surrender, Herald.

*Leo takes Blue back to the room*

Leo: You alright Blue?

*Drops Gharn off in the med-bay, then lets the medics take care of him in what I assume is surgery*
*Waits outside, worriedly*

*Blue chirps, and looks up at Leo*
*Chirps a few more times, then tries climbing up him*

*Maiev sighs at the Dark Spawn, and lights it on fire*
M: Ain't got time for your chaff gak...

*Leo lets Blue climb her then goes into her room to sleep*

*Leo curls up and sleeps*

*Rita sits next to Izriel, and holds her hand looking worried.*
Rita: He will be okay...
*Her eyes glow red, but spec of blue dance around the red of her irises.*

*Horus growls*
Horus: I was about to say the same thing!
*Hacks at the monster's face*


*Gharn is rushed into surgery by harried looking medics*
*Does not look good, especially since half his face is shredded and you can see bone in the shoulder bite*


*Iris shakes her head*
Iris: It's less the flash more, the "One second nothing, next second zing!"

*Dragon recoils slightly from the cut and gores Horus with its horns*
*rears its head up to breathe fire at Horus*

*Dark Spawn staggers from the Fel fire and collapses into a charred corpse moments later*
*As Kara and Maiev reach the crystal (probably repeating the same process to the aforementioned Dark Spawn repeatedly), Kara extends her right hand towards the crystal and shudders as a beam of energy and light extends from her palm to the crystal*
*sinks to one knee and shudders again as an orb of green expands out from the crystal, slowly encompassing the room and cavern as a whole*

*Nods, and squeezes Rita's hand*
*Leans on her shoulder, and worries*

*Blue pushes herself into the centre of curled up Leo, and dozes off there*

*Maiev tries supporting Kara as much as possible*
*Keeps the nasties away if they're ballsy enough*

I can see how it makes people uncomfortable, yes. I try to not pop in on people's bedrooms. It works... 99% of the time. The other 1% is what amnestics are for. I'm not perverted.

*A handful of Dark Spawn raise bows at them and loose off a volley*

*As Kara puts a hand onto the floor to support herself, an ethereal figure (distinctly feminine)
appears several feet away from her*
My Herald, it is almost over. Only a few more minutes.

*Horus grunts as he's stabbed with the horns then places himself against the wall, ready to dodge firebreath , ignoring the new holes in his torso*


*Gharn is not doing well*

*Nods solemnly to Iris*
For me and them, yes. Intruding on people's personal lives is not what I do. Also, memetics fethed my head. Can't be attracted to people now. People's loss. Eldar don't count, naturally, but that makes it so looking for someone feels like a replacement goldfish. Not a priority. I have neural augments.
