Sorry, you're still quite new to Dakka. We've had trouble with people signing up to Dakka just for the Minecraft server. Ask again in a month or two if you are still here, or if one of the current whitelisted Minecraft people can vouch for you I'll let you on.

Darkinnit do items on the ground reset when the server closes? I was killed by a cave spider (...yes, found another spawner), but I couldn't see any of my stuff when I went back to look a few minutes later. =/

Dropped items should remain through server restarts. They should linger for about 5 minutes from droppage, but sometimes they can go invisible due to a bug. If you walk around where they "should be" within the 5 minute window, sometimes you start picking them up.

If that didn't work, then I'd normally be ok to restore them, but in this case you were exploring cave spider spawners.... :-)

XD I made a wall to block off the spawner, but died of the poison annoyingly.

=/ My stuff should have been safe in that enclosed area, but I guess it despawned by the time I got back there.

Posion shouldn't kill you it should just take you down to half a heart. Kinda like Starving.

I relogged and was dead, so I assumed it was poison. =/

Can I get an inventory reset to 17:25 ish? I logged out next to a crafting bench, relogged and apparently I had drowned. After I'd gotten most of my stuff I relogged and drowned again. Connection issue perhaps? I donno, but that was all my building materials I lost there. =/

Pretty hard to find a jiffy bag in Minecraft, especially one big enough.

^^ Heh, it was just a load of stone brick blocks and its derivatives. At the time I thought it'd take a while to produce it all again, but then I didn't realise I'd be playing the game for another few hours...

I've sent him a link to the FAQ and if I didn't trust him I wouldn't do this
