Wow, this one looks great and mean. I like the quad gun version as well, but this one really feels fierce.

Not bad I like the main body and the turret idea was a clever one the only thing I am not sold on is the track side.

The track detail is great and the patch work looks good, the thing is they look a little flat I gather you have done this for ease of casting.

Maybe adding a set of side covers might lift it little, you could cast them as flat sections so no real problem, the ones you did on the earlier version would work nicely.

Great start and they should sell, the rest is just my opinion but I like to be honest I would get one as I love Grot tanks and overall this is a good looking tank

Mind you can I have a pic with a grot just for scale reference

Yes, I'd buy one. Though ldd has a point, the tracks look a bit odd. Even though it's close to your last grot tank in design (which was fantastic)... the fact that the track plates actually extend beyond the width of the tracks makes the track arrangement look overly bulky & distracts from the body and turret.

I understand the limitations that casting puts on what you can design, but perhaps there's a way to de-emphasize the fact that the plate and tracks have to start at about the same place... perhaps insetting those two big circular wheels rather than having them stick out? A partial cover might also help (like in the pic above), but then again it's limited by what you can make a successful cast of.

Further thought:

Could you cast the turret hatch lid separately & hollow out the hatch a bit so someone could stick a grot figure in there if they want?

MK1 looking good waz

I'll echo others, and say that adding a track cover (bulkier the better if you ask me) would make it more aesthetically pleasing.

Also you should make the hatch covers as an add on piece, so like others have said we can leave it in the open position and put some grots there if we chose!

TUT on making you tracks you crafty git!! those don't look like the ones you buy online

also we all hate you, you stink, and you might as well go eat worms

And BOOOOOOM, Like a BOSS in a Grot Tank Factory...............................Waz makes another one

this one was about 11 hours work, i did sort of copy the body of a forged world grot tank, but i only had one photo to follow (No internet at work) and this photo was of the side back end and not very good, but im sure you will guess the tank, the turret is different and over all, i love this little bugger.

Just love the over-sized turret on that thing and the way it sticks up... sort of like someone standing tall in order to get a better view! Great build waz!
