Carrying on with the theme of bikers, I've recently finished my first of six Kum bikers. First time trying SENMM to produce chrome, more of a cartoon look but it fits my more colourful style that I paint infinity with.

I know the bases are wrong for actually playing the game but these are primarily painted for display as I don't know anyone who plays so I went with the pill shaped style that I much prefer. His jacket was supposed to look like a motorcycle gang leather jacket with the club logo on the back.




The second Wip bike, chrome is nearly finished but the front purple panels still need finished. This will be for the other rider from the first set then I'll move on to one of the female models.

They look amazing.

Any reason you changed the bases? That's going to cause all sorts of issues.

Mainly since they'll be on display rather than for gaming, I'm very much a painter first.
I also wasn't very keen on having very wide bases for quite low figures.

If I ever game with them I'll laser cut some larger bases that they slot into.

Loving the sky/earth chrome, Snotcatcher. really slick!

No problem, the blue half is a midtone of (MC) Azure blended up with (MC) Transparent Blue and down with (MA) White. The brown is (MC-PS)Tan Earth blended up with (GI) Skin Was and down with (MA) White. The parts are then edge highlighted with (MA) White on all the fairly sharp edges. All Vallejo paints.

Damn, that is some impressive chrome! I geel so inadequate with my piddly tabletop quality paint job. How long did it take you to paint those bikes?

Very nice, like the crosses on the shoulder pads I think they work very well.

Nice job on the blue as well GiraffeX, think it contrasts nicely with the camo pattern on their trousers.

Thanks its my first try at camo, I went quite dark as I wasn't sure I could pull it off.

Got my PanO starters all painted up. Not the best of pictures, the lighting is poor and makes the whites and reds look brighter. No basing done yet either, not sure what I wanna do, but will likely order some for them.

Like the 'war torn' look you have given them, makes a change to the polished-clean look that a lot of people go for.

Have you gone from black undercoat and built on top of that or used ink/washes?
