I really like the pistol in the off hand! Will try to do that with mine . Box arrived here last night...!

Not actually a conversion there... The Handler sprue has two of each arm with the pistol, plus the grenade launcher am and the two interface arms. So the only conversion is the contractor torso being used for the Journeyman.

They're lovely models. Particularly like the separate guns on the contractors... The hands are open, with an extended trigger finger so you just slot the gun in without having to chop off the pistol grip. Very cool detail.

So, this guy turned out surprisingly difficult to photograph... Still needs some putty.

What's the sound of one bionic arm clapping?

Is the greenstuff work on the chest to fill holes/ cover issues, or just to add variety?

The bionic arm is a nice treat , no I want the guy from starship troopers "Mobile Infantry made me the man i am today"

I wanted the squad leader to be a little more portly

Bionic arm is just a trimmed down scarecrow droid arm. But yeah, I love it... Gives him a whole bunch of character, I think.

Playing with bits a little...

Flamethrower taken from a Scarecrow, and jump pack made from leftover drone bits... No use in game without some homebrew rules, but I thought the idea was cool


Still needs a little gap filling and a hose for the flamer...

They're Epirian Bot Handlers.

They're from the Kickstarter. I believe there was concept art shown for them, but the models weren't finished at that point.

Ah, makes sense. They're much nicer than the blocky ones. A shame the KS wasn't able to lead with these instead.

I doubt that they'll want to add any further 'official' units to the game right now, but I'm starting to collect a few converted bits and pieces like that guy and the 'scorpion' drone that I think will be fun to create some homebrew rules cards for when I get some time to sit down with the rules.

I'm picturing the jump guy as a solo character, whose normal role would be exploration and scrub clearing. In game, he would move as normal with the jump unit allowing him to make a powered boost over obstacles, or just to get extra range.

Or perhaps allow him to run normally, fire off his flamer and then boost back out of range...
