Jean Grey? I'm guessing it's not Ray Summers.

Who doesn't?
On another subject...
The whole Batman family of titles is really starting to slip and suffer with the DEATH OF THE FAMILY crossover.
This group of books was previously quite strong, with DETECTIVE and BATMAN AND ROBIN leading the way - and with BATMAN AND ROBIN really surprising me in terms of how good it was and how much I liked it! Especially as I was not a huge fan of Damien to begin with.
Now, with the 'return' of the Joker feeling so forced, all the books are starting to slip in terms of overall quality.
THE DARK KNIGHT was, not surprisingly, already the stinker of the bunch.
Part of the problem may be down to DC's Reboot that Wasn't a Reboot - yet.. it was?
Overall, I can't wait until it is over.

Indeed, especially the Batman books. When Batman #1 cameout he's already got 3 Robins....that doesn't seem like a restart to me. So what's the advantage? You get to redo old storylines! Excellent! Automatically Appended Next Post:
Don't get me wrong I like the title. I don't think they were being accidently ironic. They title is kind of a wink and nod.

Just read the first issue of the Injustice prequel comic. Got me even more hyped for the game.
In the process, I installed the DC App on the family iPad and now I have to really hold back to not immediatly buy the Batman Beyond comics that haven't been released as trade yet.
...
Oh Gork. Please tell me I can't read IDWs TMNT stuff digitally.

Thanks Manchu. Amazon. uk says May. I guess I could wait that long. Has anyone read IDW's Infestation 2. I was dissapointed by their first event, but I kinda want to read Infestation 2, because it has the Ninja Turtles in it. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and Justice League: Beyond is also finally getting a TPB release. With art from Dustin Nguyen. I love that guy!

When my comics store had a sale a few months ago. All new, but not that weeks new comics, were half off. I already had Batman Beyond 1 so I picked up 2-8. It's a fantastic book. I mainly like the Justice League though.

I just finished the last Legion Lost. It ended at #16. Unfortunately I think the whole series was not well thought out and did more to make existing Legion fans angry. I also think it was affected by a Marvel effect. They had brought in a Marvel writer to do it about half way and I don't think it worked at all. I just don't want that Marvel writing style in my DC. I love DC characters for a reason. You can tell in this issue too that it wasn't known it was going to be cancelled because it's ends abruptly as if it's expecting another issue. Hopefully the characters will soon make it back to the future to be in regular Legion book again.

On topic I've just started reading the whole Exiles series. Much underrated for Marvel in my opinion. Really love the issue where the entire West Coast of America is overrun by a mutant strain of Doc Connor's Lizardman virus. Really cool series overall.

It is. And it's one of those series that draws from the entire imprint without requiring specific foreknowledge, so not being familiar with the backstory isn't a deal breaker.

Exactly. I only read it because if has some of my favorite Legion characters. I didn't know about BB. I could care less about any Wildstorm character. I never thought they fit with DC.

Bought a big TPB of Frankenstein, Agent of SHADE today. I really enjoyed Frankencastle, so I'm looking forward to this one.
Now that I have access to the DC App, I'm tempted to try out a few comics that don't get a German release. Would you recommend Birds of Prey or Batwing?
