No, but I did call the company and they could tell that the dish was misaligned. They're coming tomorrow to fix it. We'll see if that sorts it out.

I have a little bit of Mantis Warrior related news for anyone that's left. I got my "Black Site X" terrain shipment yesterday from a kickstarter I supported. Basically it's laser-cut terrain based on the marine bases from the original Dawn of War computer games. I ordered quite a bit and should have a decent table when I'm done building and painting it. Might recruit Thing 1 to do the building... he's pretty good at that stuff.

Gits! I backed the same campaign on kickstarter! Love their stuff. I have most of it built. Still debating on the best way to go about painting them.
I picked up the HQ, 2 Bunkers, 5 pill boxs, 12 tank traps, Landing pad, foundry and 4 aerials. Just built and brown the stuff looks fantastic!

Yeah just curious as I have some MDF drop-pods, I gave them a thinned down pvc coat wash to protect them from effects of paint primer, then once that and the primer was applied it was paint time.
Do you coat the MDF before primer? or can primer just become the protective first coat on MDF pieces?

While I like the landing pad, and the smaller pieces to the right of the picture, I can't say I'm that keen on the big building so far.
