I like that purple dread there, very eye-catching indeed.

I especially like the yellow, very crisp job. That and the bone-colours on the adornments.

Would be nice if you added actual snow effects to the base though, that would really complete it.

Sorry for the dim lighting in the pics...

Here is a slightly better one...

Hey all.

First post on this Forum. I was looking at the painting and seeing it as I just finished a Dreadnought of my own, it seemed fitting that I would share it!

Enjoy!

I was undecided on weapons, so I decided to magnetise instead:

My plan is to have all/convert all the different dreadnought weapons for both left and right (mortis style). I've got some other dreadnoughts and weapons to paint, but I suffer from "must have" but never get around to painting, so they'll go with all the other projects I need to complete!

Regards, Phil.

I was going for chaotic energy spewing out of it but...yeah it ended up looking like party streamers. Probably going to redo the tentacles and try to lessen the 'birthday clown' effect.

Its the colors you chose for them. They're to fresh and clean, they pop too much. Try darkening them a bit and varying the tones of each color on each tentacle.

I like the effect the LED inside gives off, the red is reminiscent of the character Carron's armor glow around the collar.

another paper dreadnought, this one fully painted.
The arms can be exchanged with the previous one and the claws can also be swapped with a chainfist ( they are magnetized)

I wish I could say I painted it, but I didn't. I still love it, and I'm trying to emulate the style for rest of my army.
