Yes it is.
It is the logo of "Monster Hunter International" by Larry Correia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Correia
and their logo is this:
http://www.behance.net/gallery/Monster-Hunter-International/1326545
So for this diorama with the troop fighting some invisible green Orks, I found that very fitting.
So Monster Hunter Intergalactical it is

I think one or two orks in the process of being gunned down would add to this diorama.

You guys will never blow my cover!
But I have some exclusive shots from Santas lair
and hideaway
(about a year old, but best you can get from that side of the pole...)
Well, last night I looked into the helmets.
As mentioned besides the leader
I want to use the Dencara Gaurds helmets, so I removed them from some of my existing (non-painted) figures
I found a total of 5, but two are the the very first version with the longer neck-shield, so I'm not sure how usable they will be once casted
(Well actually I'm not sure if there will be ANY successful casts - lately I was very un-successfull with casting...)
Anyhow, I poured the silicone last night
and removed it from the frame this morning
Lots of clean-up required before I can do the other half of the mold...
Cheers
Klaus

Did you know "Dwarves" and "Midgets" are two separate conditions. A Dwarf being someone who genetically has been stunted and has out of proportion limbs torso and head, whereas a Midget is someone who is literally someone under a specific height (usually a genetic condition, but can apply to people who are just under the height) who is perfectly in proportion.

Hi guys,
sorry for the lack of updates, but my real live keeps me busy...
Anyhow, yes, the shelves are IKEA:
http://www.ikea.com/de/de/catalog/products/10011055/
with about 50.-€ here in Germany - they seem to be a perfect fit for a 40K display cabinet
Well, little progress on the diorama.
I completed the mold
and conducted a first cleanup cast (to check functionality and flush out residue) - so far it looks OK, I hope I can do some real casts over the weekend
The platoon leader (still no name guys!!) got his ears and a badge for the baret
what color should the baret get? red, black?
I cleaned the body some more, filled the last gaps, drilled out the bolters barrel and the shoulder pad received the horns
And another 4 troopers were cleaned up and got some minor gap filling
Unfortnualtey that's as far as I got :(
Hopefully some major progress over the weekend...
Cheers
Klaus

Great update as always Klaus!
Loving the Pickelhaube helmets and the really characterful head of the officer!
How about Major Reisman, played by Lee Marvin in the film: The Dirty Dozen"?
Or, since the head seems to be the exact copy of Nigel Green in the film: "Tobruk", why not call him Colonel Harker? Would be rather fitting!

hmmm... red cap or black one... tough decision...for a more german related context i would probably choose the black option...
IF i had room enough for thios cabinet i would get one instantly... the way how often we are at ikea these days^^ but alas there wouldn´t be any room for it... i think one day i have to own up for a hanging cabinet ...same room but just turned to 90° ...
