MoD - Cheers. The ogryn was so much fun he is definitely getting at least a couple of friends. The missionary has stalled and gone into the dreaded I'll finish that at some point pile.

He looks great. He looks like he could tuck in his arms and legs and cause some serious damage by rolling down a hill at people. I like the orange pads, similar to Weirdingway's use of orange which is in turn quite like Neil Blomkamp.

His skin looks really smooth (the Ogryn, not Neil Blomkamp). I think that's both a good feature and the one thing I am unsure about: I'm really envious that you can paint such a smooth, clean skin tone... but I feel like Ogryns ought to be covered in tattoos, scratches, hair, dirt, etc.

he is a beast ! these two look great together. the brass of the shell casings is a nice touch.

Love the colour scheme, the slightly muted orange spot colour is perfect and the weathering is exceptional. Very inspiring

Bruticus - Ha ha I have been thinking the same thing for the last few weeks....tuck and roll! I understand what you mean about the skin being smooth. I expect a little dirt when I weather it. I will endeavour to add some tats on the next one...this chap is all about the sub dermal piercings.

Neil - I really was shocked when I saw the size of the Ogryn next to a human.

Nathaniel - Cheers. The orange has been fun to paint. I blame Mikko and Jakob.

Looks great man. Really came out brilliantly. Worth all the effort with the arms.

Cheers Malika. There will not be any more squats. This one really is just a homage to Mikko's army. In my opinion the best army I have seen in ages. So I will leave the Exo Suits to Mikko because I doubt anyone will do it better,

So this little guy will find a home in the merc group I am putting together.

He's cool. The only thing I could suggest would be greenstuffing the chainmail into fabric or something, but I suppose it could be mesh armour. The axe is a really neat conversion.

The only thing I hate about that Ironbreaker head is the lower lip. Have you thought about doing something like this?


Turning his upper lip into his lower lip would give him a very dwarf-esque scowl and get rid of the slack jawed look.
