there are still some wash jobs needed if i´m not mistaken... the leather and pants have to have it...

and sometimes the mouths of your soldiers look a bit drag-queen to me... maybe a bit of dwarven flesh would fix that...

currently my favore has shifted a bit... Vlosseki with his greenish visor shades is in the lead now^^

LOL! Okay, some more flesh work, presently working on the leather of the pouches(highlights) then the reflesh around the mouths. Vlosseki is wearing a tactical data relay visor.

Flyers were cool, the big-bomma was magnificent, excellent job indeed.

Infantry, lots of infantry. That's definitely a proper army you've got there, some big-ass planning required for the army shots we all wanna see

Walkers were awesome, too.

Don't think I saw any more tanks, but can't be sure - I'm always a bit shell-shocked after catching up on your thread if I've missed a chunk. Huge image dump into the brain and it all goes to mush On the plus side it means I only recall the awesome bits with any detail, on the minus side I may have misse some of the awesome somewhere, and I can't give any C&C unless I take notes while catching up (which is something I've done a few times on Dakka ).

Anyway, all good, keep it coming and I'll try to keep up

well i own a "third hand" ...with those clamps to hold objects and a magnifying glass too... and i can´t paint worth a damn with it.... vision always gets 2D instead of 3D and i can´t place the tip of the brush proper... beside i get eyestrain and headaches then when trying too hard... dunno how a big magnifying glass or even hobby glasses would work tho...

Camo looks great! Really defines the models and pulls them together. Excellent job.

Well, it is getting harder as is, so I guess a "third hand" is in the pipeline of things I need to buy.

That heavy bolter crew was a gift from a frien after he built it and realized he was simply going Ultrmarines, so Konfed standard issues in Caskrainean camo pattern for use in the force.

Oh yeah, such nasty meat munching plants cannot be trusted

First is the Command squad under Lt. Traupman, Patcher the medic, Ears the voxman, "Cyclops" the banner man, and Deadeye Durov, the sniper.

He came with the two walkers I painted "shark-mouths" on. Hasslefree minis in England makes them. I plan on ordering some more, I want to make ones with all gatling guns, and another all cannons

I thought you might, seeing you have an all Catachan force. I will have names for the these guys as they are all very characterful the way I put them together, and such!

for me giving them all names is forever the way to go... when you name a mini then you think twice about sacrificing them i think...

That and the batreps and stories can be far more colorful!

Oh the codex:Imperial Guard each platoon has a small command squad, and the army has up to two Army command squad(s). So, if you go with three platoons, and one army cmnd sqd, you have 4 cmnd units overall.

The Guard has quite the rigid structure and yet some flexibility as a platoon can be 5 x 10man squads and one command sqd with heavy weapon and specialist weapons sqds attached to it, so one troop choice of 150 or so strong! Great for Apocalypse level games) For kill points, the platoon squads(Riflers) can "mob up" and count as one 50man kill point, or separate out into independent moved units to cover objectives. I have had some games of 30 men with command and support teams attached, so 2 platoons and Veterans as an independent action troop choice, hunt-kill squad.

Great for regular games too! Guard MUST have a scoring blob and a sacrificial blob if you ever want to win a game It sucks for painting tho
