I like it, right now Ukraine is in the throes of unrest and rioting.

Dust/fording cap to keep water out as it goes thru rivers and such. My model has a full kit for water crossing

So, while waiting for the extreme cold to end so I can primer the T-64, I went back and did more work on a few things I finished for now Special Fireteam "Alder" under Sgt Alder. Grime from soot and blasts has coated the soldiers, but their markings are still visible under it all.

When we last saw the Valkir, they were nothing more than a base concept. I knew I wanted power armor troops for the Eisenkern faction that represented the mid-point of advancement through the Eisenkern Ranks. And I thought that new keyboard was supposed to stay unpainted? LOL

Seems i can scrape off the paint, even the glue as the soft section flexes, allowing the stuff to come off!

So, I do have a palette, but old habits die hard!

I do have some weapon conversions, 2 flamers and a plasma rifle

Very nice models! And a really cool camo pattern!

The oversized GW weapons just look comical on them, just shows how bad the scale for GW really is .

Yeah, the flamers are actually the ones I got with the Great Coats from WGF, that is why they are not so unreasonable sized, (Plus to fit the pose, I did cut them down some and welded them to the trigger sections of the actual rifles that came with the 2 flame troopers, the GW flamer is as ridiculously over sized as that plasma weapon. So, it was a bit easier to deal with the size of the WGF flamethrowers than the GW Plasma. Basically, every weapon of GW is far larger than it ought to be and is comically so.

When I see these models, I think they should be white with black insert. Ala Stormtroopers.

They look great, and guns although big, do look awesome. Who would not want to have a go with that plasma gun??

Well, their boxes call them stormtroopers, but i think they meant more like the WW-I variety. I have more progress to show

Plasma gunner. Plasma gunners also have spare charge caps in a durable container seen affixed to the bottom of the troopers' back unit.

I see the sgt needs some "eyes" painted in.

The eyes look great . The only thing that throws me off honestly are the pouches and clip holsters being a separate color/non camouflaged.

Those are made from a material the troopers jokingly refer to as "Factory Leather" a synthetic material, made in a leaf green color, but not in a camouflage break pattern as a brown or black leather material would be. (It was also inspired by the holder for my entrenching tool back in 1983-85)

So, still problems making normal eyes I will need to get the magnifier/alligator clamp station so I can do better in future for eyes, glad so many of the heads had goggles.

Eyes are easy if you start with them. Then paint the face, this leaves you room for error. Anyways, impressive amount of work shas.

What color blues did you use for the eyes, because I want to steal that.

I knew there had to be a reSon for the different colored pouches. But I can just see an ambush get spoiled because someone sees a pouch over in that bush

Is also why I soot/grimed the pouches with the armor!

The colors are reaper paints Sapphire blue and sky blue(which looks close to the GW ice blue) you could use "enchanted blue" that Librarian armor uses as the base and use the ice blue, for same effects.

So, the 144th also has needs for knocking out heavy vehicles with a bit more punch involved than that provided by the Panzerfaust 99, for this the teams using the PaK -50 Coil gun arrive, set their cannons up and wait to strike the heavier machines of the enemy

The coil accelerators in the barrels are powered by the energy cell box wired tot he cannons thus allowing for power each firing.

So envious of the heavy weapons squads right now. I have one set, but massed artillery always is a tease.

Thanks cam. Is a tad harder than I thought painting them in place, Maybe one day, I will paint each guy before setting them to the base of the weapons? part of it is how big that gun shield is!
