YAY! Package from Japan arrived today! Now I have an idea how big the weapons are, just have to match the personality of the mecha to the weapons as it were.

Chainblade of doom
[/img]

with the crusader sword for comparisons, got blurry witht he man on top of it as there is much excitement of having these weapons ready for adding to the mechas as Not-Knights
[/img]
[/img]

Preda-claws
[/img]

Punchy Hydraulic fist
[/img]

Drill/Triblade
[/img]

And the green carrier "Balgray" arrived! Different deck design and also is carrying interceptors the Lanbea has the stukas

I have seen the picks, DWG-262 and the DWG-87 so far, looking forwards to others
though they seem more in between modern human designs and a slight alien touch. 1/48 scale works better for airpower

I feel like you ought to flip the hand holding the chainsaw's control mechanism. That looks a bit painful in the current orientation.

Also, are you going to leave the second handle on the back, or chop it off?

I maybe could, the wrist of mechas are usually 360 degree rotation so no pain for that, might look different swapping the end and the connection around, looking like he is ready to thumb activate the blade, (which is a wind up weapon) the handle on the back I can pull out, maybe attach some sort of cables and such to the very back, connect them to the mecha

And all for just over 6.00USD 56USD for the Leynos model, so 62USD for a Knight stand in for less than half the cost!

Oh, the jokes that could be made about the pneumatic fist attachment...

It amuses me that the weapons look too big on the arms by themselves, but look OK when attached to the model.

And these were modeled originally with 1/144 scale or 1/100 scale mechs, on a 1/35th scaler, like the Leynos, they seem better the driller is frigging huge though, has the ability witht he right shoulder peg to BE an arm, but likely will need some work, may even replace the normal hand on the Valken I plan to give it to once I order the Valken

Yeah, had all the 16's attached, then got to the 15's reworked the links and they look better

Not where I should be

They look stunning, slightly OTT, but right some how.

I do know that if that thing was coming at me in my nice shiny new tank I would be worried. They look like they could actually slice through a tank, unlike the majority of these things from others.

Fantastic work, and good job on attaching them, looks natural to me.

One small question.......um why have they all got Prince Albert's?

Thanks Cam, Likely they would look a tad better on the larger scale mechs, actually a might bit smallish. The BFG's the mechs have seem to balance the arm weapons out a bit.

Thanks, I was trying to make the things look right, hence the putty wok for the chainsaw., the blade and fist came with good girder pieces. the fist I added some plasti-card support near the wrist.

The orignal scale of the Leynos suits are 1/35th scale, I imagine those are grip-steps for the pilot to clamber up into the chest cockpit, it is just about right inside for a sentinel pilot, maybe some interiors

I got them thru Hobby Search, the maker is a company named Plum, 56USD per mecha, plus a chunky shipping fee, but they do once payment is cleared, get here in about a week's time.
