SkySlasher and I yesterday completed the extension of Corridor 440 from my dwarf chasms all the way to Savage Island. I think that makes it comfortably the longest 3 x 2 underground corridor in the game, from a little south of here:
Apologies if it went under anyone's land (it probably did). I think we managed to avoid making contact with anyone else's mines, though. Feel free to extend a corridor out to it if you fancy a relatively rapid north-south transit route and live in the area. It's at x 439 & x 440, and y of either 39 (in the south) or 10 (in the north).
i am looking for some slime balls or sticky pistons to trade for, i need 5 but i would trade for up to 10. Is there a slime spawner on the server somewhere i could go?
Swamps spawn slimes naturally. I should have slimeballs somewhere in my house that you can take if you really need them, but Slimes spawn rather commonly. =P

I remember Dark saying something to do with a Minetruck and that he had been banned...
if no one has claimed it, may i claim and harvest it for My Railway ?

Scavengers, scavengers everywhere! You know what you could do, as crazy as it seems, go to an abandoned mineshaft and take those rails! Isn't that so crazy??
You can get loads from abandoned mines, quite quickly. Most of the 3000 blocks of rails in the underground route from Savage Island to Chasmholm were from abandoned mines.
yeah, I got 2 stacks from a mineshaft this morning

ANyone have a review of the stuff that was added in 1.5?

Well, I meant after having actually used it, practical review rather than "oh look some cool stuff here".

The one that interests me the most is probably the daylight detector, admittedly, but most everything else also looks useful in its own way (redstone blocks look pretty awesome as both decoration AND a way of storing massive amounts of excess redstone).

I made chequered flooring for my bedroom from Redstone and lapis blocks - it's a better "red" colour than red wool - more "blood red" than "scab red", by the old citadel paint reckoning. (if that makes any sense)
Other than that, I've not used any of the rest of the things 1.5 added yet, But the daylight detector seems useful... If I didn't live underground...
Oh, I just wanted to use it to open up a sunroof if possible.

Hoppers are pretty fun and same goes for droppers, the daylight detector is great for some awesome lighting for villages and other cool stuff. Nether Quartz blocks are pretty, and go well with red. Skellies have a nice chance of killing you with their rapid fire when you get too close, which kills armour like no one's business.
Hoppers seem like a great way to make automated farms, especially watermelon farms. Watermelon vine + piston set to repeat occasionally where the watermelon would grow + flowing water pushing the watermelon slices in to a hopper connected to a chest.
Might be a bit noisy mind you.

Man, I have not been on the server in ages... Taking a look at the overviewer, MAN does my house look terrible (And boy have so many people done better versions of it too).
