Sure that's possible, you just have to melt, carve and chew each plastic bit into the desired shape... then add rivets

i am currently at a twisted mental state... no seriously... even more than usual... the head is spinning due to the comp^^...

If you make the sprue horse rearing up it could be the statue.

for now i have used wine bottle corks made from foam (?!), serviettes...and flooring insulation foam (green foam)...PVA and the patience of my wife^^...

also... seeing this now... it is a testament to my own hobby ADD

I agree, looks like some kind of temple is forming there... looks huge! I'm curious to see how it's a graveyard... staying tuned

the outcome is quite final...today i will anounce the quitting of my hobby life...it has been a major drain on money, time and power...this has caused much dismay and will now cease...

which brings me up to speed with my current progress:











the top i i left to be able to be taken off... so to better work and play inside...and boy... there will be some small marvels inside still to come just you wait



and as this is also something that this competition should provide...here is the educational part:

i made these columns from two corks each... each column i then covered in a mixture of tissue paper and dilluted PVA... now it is a nice and very sturdy structure... as the whole is made from foam corks...yeah... nowadays you get these too in winebottles...urgh....i then pinned these to the position in the constrction by actuall pins... i cut of the pinheads and then placed the dull ends with pincers (attention boys and gals...this could be hurting otherwse...) and just left enough of the pins to later on have them secure stuck and connected to the base of the temple... and the upper structure to the roof too... see for yourself for this little description...








that´s it for now... i hope i can make some more progress tomorrow...

by the way... for those who wonder...my new avatar pic... is an actual easter egg i made with my kids... added rivets of course... and then we went to a small hill and tossed it from there to roll downhill... all four of us did so with their own eggs... and well... my egg didn´t brake^^

The temple look great mate like the texture the tissue gave it seems pretty big as well so you got some filling to do

I keep seeing skeletons fighting in it for some reason

like good old harryhausen...?...hehehe... could be...could be^^

there will be something happening there... be sure of that.... plans are afoot... that´s all i can say atm... the comp is quite steep atm as hk1x1 sure knows how to raise the bar... so i need to see if i can have some leverage there as well^^

It didn't break because it was riveted.. hope the boys learned a valuable lesson

they did^^.... tho they cheated with theirs... they used stickers on them... makes theirs harder and more resintant too ... what does this tell us now?
