Moral off he story.....rule of cool, electro guns work in steampunk because they are awesome. Failure to bide by rule of cool will have you turned into a servo janitor , in the grim dark future there are always dirty toilets for you to clean .

Doesn't have to be downwards so long as the path the electricity takes has a lower resistance than direct to earth and metal has a FAR lower resistance than air.

Nah, it was the Blimp part I was objecting to. Blimps literally are just aerodynamic balloons- no structure except for a pressure envelope. Zeppelins and airships have an internal skeleton and solid ribs- a Blimp hits something smooth, it goes "Boing". A Zeppelin hits something smooth, it goes "Crunch".

LOL.... i too have no real name for them

and LDD... while i totally agree with you... i need to get some detailwork done before i am able to do just that... the whole construction is truning out to be quite some complicated and delicate thing... i fear destruction behind every corner^^...

by the way... i have reached new vegas and for a quest i have to answer some silly NCR related questions... who is the famous president where was the NCR founded and some other i have forgotten....argh.... made that test already three times... always wrong...

Level your sneak, and get ahold of a silenced .22 before you go in The Tops! You can Play all the sides against each other and take NV for yourself (independent) if you want to, or side with Mr. House, or NCR, or Legion. Now is about the time you will start making game-changing decisions!

Love the tail fins. All looking great.

Not wishing to re-ignite old discussion, but the Tesla coil could be "grounded" by a "keel" type arrangement and the lightning grounding to the earth, would maybe act as your stand for the beast. Kinda like an upside down tree, branching across the ground from a central ball on a keel beneath the gondola!! Just my 2 pence.

The airship is looking great, love the "flippers" you have designed. No I shall start calling your vessel "flipper" just like the t.v. Show. Everyone sing. They call it flipper, flipper....I forget the rest. But seriously you could put the tesla coil on the front sticking up and it would look like a narwhals.
