Like Theo, i was also confused by your gunner's arms (great name for a pub - The Gunner's Arms) - I looked at that and thought the grot had ducked for cover and all that was showing was his legs and feet

Excellent work Vik totally awesome love the brave colour scheme for the grots G-Men style and "in Grot we trust"

i wouldn´t have been able to paint something if i had fully assembled that grot on the plane... it is hard as it is atm still... so^^...

he will later on look like he is getting flung around by the recoil..or failing that trying to do his bets to direct the gun^^

Vik, you have inspired me to build a blimp, and now the grots , I think one day we will have a blimp war between us, your grots versus my servo skulls. It will be the longest war in imperial history as both sides are equally matched intelligence wise .

by the way... the base needs to get some weight.... anybody had some nice...ceap and clever ideas i could work with to make it heavy but look good? and yeah... i already thought of getting me some stones...

Washers, large nuts and bolts, heavy screws those kind of things, you always have a tray draw or as my dad did several cabinets full of them just in case

ok... well yeah... such items of course... but would washed look good painted? wouldn´t there be scale issues?

Definitely stones vik, make sure they are similar, and they can be the rock peaks of a mountain crossing. Find a 28mm scale goat to go on top of one.

Or since they dropped the bomb, use a PVC pipe to be the smokestack of the factory they are going after. Fill the bottom with metal or rocks, add steal wool as smoke coming out the top to cover what's inside.

oh.....i like that smoke stack idea!!!... very inventive!.... that will go on my need to try out list for definite!!!

well... the current piece of a scratchbuild base (as i don´t have really the right size for a base otherwise...is really lightweight... so needs additional weight or it is too top heavy with plane and bomb... and we wouldn´t want it to topple over, now do we?...
