When it comes to me building all things Ork I keep something I read in fluff once in mind that helps.

After a crazy long battle the Imperium had against an Ork horde, some techs where studying Ork weapons and such to try and learn more about the Orks. Some random Techpriest opened up a slugga (which is the Ork pistol) and saw a mish mash of rocks, dirt, rusted gears in random spots and some springs. The gun should not of worked at all, under any circumstances, yet was fired several times before the owner was killed.

SO! When I hit that snag that makes my brain say " game over man, game over!!" I think of that fluff, smile and get back ta work

Old ork fluff was awesome fluff.

And Dave, I caught that reference there.

People seem to insist on pushing logic on to Orks. Orks are what happens when logic is ripped up and you start again.

Now lets see some progress master.....

Vik after trawling through all the nonsense I love your grots and eye for detail, the inside gubbinz is great real workings.

I did want to post a few times but I get a bit tied of repeating what others have all ready said, the grot bomber was a great piece well worth a first place although second is not to be frowned at.

Now just show what you are not sure of, after all you know you will get plenty of feedback …..

If your having problems with the claws, you could always go for a giant wreckingball hanging from it instead.

but i will take a pic...

since you are still here... it was not meant to tease you... just to show how unsure i was...mom...uploading...

lol... i think i skip on this for that occasion if it is all the same to you

so... here is what i added atm... it is a curved understructure to the brick...
the reasoning behind...i had to build something up to make later on the base have something to be supported from...
also...i think the current build lacked a certain engine like component... so the aim here is to build it up further to look like some machine like thingummy...

and also... the base... made from the classic CD case...

pics...:

cheers, vik

Damo may have a hell of a sak, but Vik is hard as a brick

Rounded bottom for the engine thing looks good Vik. I also have two of those cd containers sitting around not being used.

Depending upon the wrecking ball you could have it spinning around like a helicopter blade. Orks could think one big spinning thing could take off

Loving the brickzooka so far Vik, You cant get anymore Orky than a weapon that shoots bricks at people .
Just wondering, does it only shoot bricks, or can you put anything in there....
for instance what would happen if you put a Grot in it

LOL... what a nice assumption...
hmm... i will have to see if the wrecking ball will at all make an appeareance on this one...the top is already a bit crowded... the turret and a tail fin...

as bottoms should, eh? uneven ones... no, we don´t want that, eh?^^

hmmm.... i am not sure if you are serious with me on the above red marked quote of yours... woulnd´t it look a bit too genital then?

well... if a ´zooka was loaded with a grot... how strong would the piercing abilities of one grot be?... also.. this is a grot army...so i doubt they would be that suicidal enough to loose their fellow brothers in arms... now that i think of it... for a grot revolution army... they could fire an ork tho... that would make sense... getting rid of their former masters^^
and orgininally the "grotzooka" is a weapon design (for a lack of a better word ) to fire scrap metal...so it is probably nothing more than a bit powered up leafblower... or a tennis ball hurling machine...

thanks my friends.... i will see what can be done to make the new additions look more orky and more usable!

cheers, vik

No worries Vik not meaning anything rude, actually was thinking straight up.

Bit like this, air intake for huge rokkit engine. The original typhoon had a huge intake as well. Maybe a couple of turbines in there..
