I am pretty sure you have probably built a steam powered teleporter, and beam straight to Dave's desk.

Vik, have you checked mousemuffins news and rumors recently. They have one of their steampunk pistols completed, and are starting on the P1890 now. Life sized.

The builder will need to supply a few of the parts, such as the barrels (pencils) and the scope tube (a short length of PVC pipe).

If THAT goes well, This:

The fact that its all MDF, except the scope is a piece of PVC tube an the barrels are pencils, which you have to supply yourself, really shows what can be done now with the technology.

hey mates...

after a long wait... update time...:

this will need some serious riveting happening to it...

the turret got by the way magnetized so that it is able to turn on its axis....and the magnets are stubborn fridge madgnets... so strong to hold the turret and the upper half of the tank

they got a glue mix of PVA and super glue and even plastic glue to hold them sufficently!

also... as the upper half nears the riveting process one thing still needs to be done...i want to add viewpoints to the hull... after all they need to be able to see the enemy...

which one do you like more...the square one in PC or the round one?...i do have a preferrence but i want to check as i want to keep in the basic scheme of the tank...

thanks for looking, vik

Well as they were already cutting round holes for the steam stacks, I'd say stick with the round ones. I think that it would make an excellent contrast to all the straight lines.

Actually I'd say alternate them. The round square round looks really good.

i am a bit lost mate... should i use the square ones from your comments (white) or the round ones (black) or should i use both in alternation?... hmmm....really? (read your comment three times and now the puzzling is solved...^^ hmmm...unsure still...)

I think he means to alternate them vik. First a round one, then a square one, then back to round, then back to square.

You think that would make sense? What reason would the tank makers have for this? I am open for explanations and suggestions...

You could make the round ones view ports and the square ones firing ports, or vice versa. Just like the chimera kit has the round ports on the back for lasguns, you could have smaller turrets around the perimeter. But I think all round ports would be better, and still give I the old space ship vibe.

I am also favoring the rounded ones, specially since they will be easier to make even if this is the wrong motive

but have you seen the lower viewpoints/ fireing points?... They will get even shutters...(haven't shown these yet)...o haven't put them on since I am still waiting on those barking dogs barrel bitz from chaos...

Saw the lower ones before vik, just might make sense to have some upper ones for when your assaulting a city so you can shoot back at he people on the second and higher stories of a building. Also anti aircraft firing isn't a bad idea in current meta.

I think it should nave neon!! j/k round. Save the square ones, you may decide to mount something else to the hull before it's all over with.

Totally right! I was mentioning them in this context only to give some more food for thought...for me concepts have to be waterproof... Thus I think I need to make matching ones on the upper tier to have it all in one look...?!

Hmmm....what could be mounted there instead of any viewpoints?
