Loads of pics tonight for you, apart from the Heldetta base the rest were taken this evening so the picture quality is very very poor so I'll do those again when I get the chance.

Well Huron needs a squad to infiltrate with so here is his Chosen warriors of Nurgle.

Very nice... love those warriors of nurgle and the work you did on the bases.

Here's the Death Guard Lord finished, he came out a lot better than I expected in the end. He does seem to have a zombie walking pose which I find quite funny seeing as he's Nurgle







I've also started on the cultist unit as well, small WIP sneak peak below.



I've done a Khorne symbol tat on one of the others as well. I'm going to paint them in fives as its easier, currently working on their snow combats.

Nurgle guy is awesome... nice work!

I should have some sort of update on the first batch of cultists on the weekend, then I have a week off to finish the other other half of the squad and prepare for a tournament the weekend after, my first of the year . Cant believe I haven't played since November and then it was with the Sisters, the forces of chaos are getting restless!

Update time

I've finished the first five cultists as below, I wouldn't say I'm greatly happy with them but I think they will be ok. I have issues painting the DV set minis as they aren't the best models as parts seem to just blend into other parts which puts me off painting them. Either that or my painting skills are getting worse not better

Well here they are the eyes went really well, let me know what you think. They Grey on the combats hasn't come out in the pics we had a brief patch of sun this afternoon between the snow.











The next batch will be finished this week ready for next weekends tournament.

All the minis You did in the time I've been out of the Hobby are brilliant man.

The last batch of Cultists today, I apologise for the bad pics I finally got it right on the last one when the camera batteries ran out!











Thats everything finished now for the weekend

My next tournament is in June now which will be a mainly Thousand Sons army with a few units from other chaos chapters supporting.

The list currently to paint is as folllows

Thousand Sons Raptors - two left to finish
One Emperors Children Terminator because they changed the rules so you have to have five to use a heavy weapon.
A unit of World Eaters havocs armed with Lascannons

That should be it there is a very low possibility that there will also be a special Thousand Sons Heldrake but finances are poor for the next few months as the car is due its MOT , The Heldrake I have envisioned requires two kits so it will be expensive. (edit: MOT is a link word for Mark of Tzeentch how appropriate )

Last thing before I go I did some work on the Dragon Warrior that you wont remember

You cant see from the pic but every scale is highlighted, I assume madness will catch up with me as I had planned two squads of these for allies for the Dark Wolves (counts as Salamanders).



I'll try and get some better pics of him tomorrow.

I also used my spare time to note down my different army ideas today that I'd like to do and it works out at 34 currently and that's just for 40k

Cultists are looking great. How about a pic of the whole group?

A little surprise for you today.

I was reading Davey80y's painting blog last night and it really inspired me to pick up a model I've had sitting round for ages and crack out the paint.

That model was a test for my Slaanesh Daemons army, I've had a few ideas kicking round in my head for her paint scheme and it all finally came together. I wanted to keep her very dark but wanted her to stand out at the same time as well.

The base will be replaced with dark rubble probably bases from Secret Weapon when I do the army.

So let you me know what you think, gloss claws and PVC as she's a bad girl
