anyway enough frolicking with the Bard, lets get updating! I wanted to finish at least the armour on my Hammernators, and I did finish the armour so a good day for me!

and I scored a very late birthday present yesterday from my best mate! like about 15 months late! but he made up for it with an awesome pressie! which i had to open and assemble last night! sometimes it's nice to have a 'toy' that actually takes you 4 hours to assemble (mind you I did tip all the parts together and mix them up) and then it turns out this awesome! please ignore the upside down panel, it has since been corrected

I had a buddy that had a CRAZY Optimus Prime fetish. On the top of his TV stand, was probably every Prime toy ever made. It was cool to look at, specially seeing all the different styles of Prime.

And your Nators are spot fething on man, very nice so far! Also, Ive turned my oldest brother onto your blog. Hes a SM player (for like 16 years.....ouch) and we were talking about something he was wanting to try and I said "Hey! A buddy of mine paints stormshields....so apparently we were talking storm sheilds...... frigging awesomely!" speaking of painting, I suppose we want some Termies then? sadly I didn't get them finished as I went to the gym and thrashed my body doing drop sets so I actually had the shakes up too bad when i got home but I started on some base colours and metals before i stopped





That's where I'm at with them, no more pics until they're finished next week! I might be updating a bit later too next week as i'm just about to go onto a 7 night stretch at work so hang in there!

Aurora & Casey! glad you dropped by for a cuppa and a biscuit Aurora try not to go insane when reading through my blog! it bounces around like a squash ball sometimes when I get the urge to paint another army that i no doubt get sick of and sell or give away and casey, seriously dude, i could pay so much more attention to details if i wanted too! but i'd never finish anything if i did that! my ocd wouldn't let me stop until it was all done! I think i've found a happy medium for good tt

speaking of models and painting (nice segway....right?) I have been sort of thinking of something new again but knowing my history of never finishing these new and usually grand ideas I've worked out what i hope is something I can and will stick too as well as something i believe others will want to watch? I want to do a HH era army using the old tanks and armour etc. originally my army of choice for them was going to be Imperial Fists, but i just can't drag myself away from the red! so, would anyone object to me doing Blood Angles in Heresy era armour? that way I can include Cataphractii Termies, Tartaros Termies and all the early mk's of PA! what made me decide on this route was my Contemptor, I love the model and how i finished him off but he just doesn't look right in my FleshEaters force but he's work a treat as the start of a HH BA army now I need to decide on if to update them here or start a dedicated HH BA thread? as well as try and find an army list for them to build to? (hint hint everyone...)

I think the finishing of my FE force and my HH BA army will be the focus for 2013 (providing the Mayans aren't right) I can start small and really get pumped and excited about it as i go, and the bonus will be if I decide to mix the 2 forces together it will work

next Thursday the Hammernators will be finished and photographed and i'm working on a stand in for Lemartes in my FE's just writing up a small description of him to give him some character and collecting parts to build him with just need to decide on a name now?

I think a hh era blood angels would look cool never seen that done yet so sounds good to me. Well if you have looked at my blog within the last few pages i bounce around to different projects all the time eventually i will get them all done. And since this is another marine project i think it ties nicely in with your flesh eaters. my two cents on the matter.

yes, I changed my mind again!

I saw a model and it wasn't for SM's and I got the 'I must have it' feeling which was the catalyst for a gelling in my brain that has so far not been spoken about in my thread (at least not at length)! so instead of doing a HH BA force I am going to play with a little bit of Nurgle love! i've been wanting the final push for a while and already have a few ideas with modeling which will be nicely epic! anyone who can PM me about helping work out a list? please do!

but in order to start the ball rolling I need to finance the new project with the sale of one of my own models I do love the mini but I just don't feel it works with my FE force and it would be great in someone's BA or successor chapter army, which one you ask?......
