Beautiful work on this, I love the attention to detail on the head.

The yellow glows with it's own inner light. While I'm not a big fan of that head, I've never seen one painted better.

That yellow is pure gold! and I can't get over that face. you can see his forehead wrinkles! and those teeth

Thanks fellas, I really like how Kantor turned out, I've painted the purity seal I missed pointed out by Whaley and I've started Lysander but the casting is pretty crappy in parts didn't look so bad before priming but there's a lot of slippage and a few rather rough patches that I'll have to use some shading to disguise, but I'll still make him look pretty cool!

Now the next thing I'm going to ask is again about my GK army I'm looking to sell can you guys ask around and see if anyone is interested for the whole lot including codex and spare parts for $350 Aus? (plus postage) I need to sell it rather quickly now as I didn't realise i'd get a bill from ebay for selling my BA army that's be quite so high I was under the impression I had my first three listings for free but it seems I didn't and I really want to reach my goals this year of saving enough to renovate our kitchen in the new house

Great work on Kantor. The work on the head is amazing as well. I think it still looks a little big, but that might be because he's shouting. The shading on the Yellow looks great.

What's in the GK army?

Yeah Damo, a quick review with pics in a single post would be very helpful to refer people to.

I know, I'm trying to remember what I have as Whaley's built half of it for me over yonder I think I've got these models for the GK's but I can check when I'm home tonight what I actually have and then pair it with what Whaley's sending me down

Just thinking about Devs for my IF's would it be a good move to have 2 Lascannons and 2 Missile Launchers with extra Marines so I can split it into two squads with dual heavy weapons in each? or just have a squad with 4 Missile Launchers?

I checked what i have and what Whaley's got of mine and this is the force for grabs! everything is unpainted assembled except for Kaldor Draigo. :-)

I'm really enjoying this whole painting yellow lark Lysander is now done and finished and looks good next to his brothers it's going to be a shame now I've run out of special characters to paint for the Fists but until I figure out how to get some more cool ornate models you'll have to settle for some pics of Lysander

I found him/her in my cupboard from a mate who wanted me to paint it but he ended up selling his force so I thought i'd try painting something I haven't don before!

Lydander looks great - that head fits him really well. Hive flyrant looks really good as well. I especially like the inner membrane on his wings.

Lysander looks AMAZING! Again the way you do faces really makes your models. You have to do a tutorial on how you do them, make it very detailed.

Also the fist are a very nice true yellow. Kantors white hair looks great. You are still the master of painting faces with the scars on Lysander.

Honestly thank you all so much! again and again I always love the feedback and just the fact that you took the time to comment on what ever i've been fiddling with I appreciate it each and every time! I've had a look at Whaley's suggestions! and I may just have to get those two models to paint up myself! Pollux is awesome! and I also listened to Whaley again (why do I keep doing that!) and assembled a Tac squad, a Sternguard squad and a Dev squad for my fists using all random models I've not used yet and were lazing around in my bits! now I'll see when I've some spare money and might just make a purchase of a Land Raider, a Predator and a couple of rhino's (Whaley, you helping me on this dude? )

You know it. Obviously you are going to have to pick up Dorn when he eventually comes out too. If you wanted to make it a 30k switch hitter force, picked up BaC would be a massive boost too.
