I was expecting to see a rank and file concept for the opposing force too.

I am quite interested in this kickstarter, but I have to ask will there be a possibility to have alternative piles for the "Prussian" faction to stand on, seriously the piles of skulls is "meh".

So far the only one standing on a pile of skulls is Lady von Stroheim. Seargent Krüger has one foot on a rock and Nephahrya is floating with the help on her tentacles (which touch the ground, not bones).

Seargent Krüge has one foot on the rock and 4 skulls under it, so 2/3 have skulls under their feet and one is a technological necromancer.

It is quite safe to assume the faction will have a strong theme of having skulls under their feet and I would rather have the option to have them without skulls if possible.

It's Sergeant Krüger, or more correctly Unteroffizier Krüger.

Check out what they have to offer. As long as you're interested in the basic models, skulls can easily be dealt with by an hobbyist familiar with putty, files, and exacto knives.

@PsychoticStorm
You're right, there is something round that looks like skulls (can't really identify it on my monitor and with the text) but it doesn't have to be by the rock on the final base and you're always able to just put her on another base. I can't imagine that they will all have such bases anways, I am sure that is just the main characters.

@Kroothawk
Well, I still hope they change it that way, sounds just more reasonable.

Yes, but if I can avoid to deal with it before it even happens its even easier.

Its a suggestion, not a demand.

The 3D printed masters have arrived, and they are simply stunning!!! We've hastily assembled the two mounted Brunhildes to show them off. More images: http://bit.ly/14zuYmB

Still on Low Pre-Order pricing, too!

I received my Kurganova box set today. beautiful, if extremely stylized, sculpts.

I really wanted the doggie... very cute, I must say.

I'll be getting both Brunhildes, but I'll probably wait till there's something else to pick up at the same time to make the postage worthwhile.

I have the Brunhilde w flamberge, she is great although tiny metal joints were fiddly to pin.

Squatting with the squigs

These delays may be good for raging heroes but I'm not sure they are good for me, I'm positively frothing at the mouth for more germanlike miniatures.

I'm not too excited by the muscle women ones but i really love the prussian girls , more previews please.

I really hope this kickstarter starts soonish or i might lapse into apathy.

Got an email from Rob @The7thHeavenGamers, who said: "How's the Kickstarter coming along? I can't wait. I think I might be one of the first to donate."
And I thought I'd share our reply:
"The Kickstarter is robbing us of all our week-ends and all of our free time (get up, go to work, come back, eat, sleep, start over), but it's now almost upon us. We're finalising the video, arguing about the pledges and the snowball effect, working hard to avoid the pitfalls past KS have faced or are now facing... And making sure the sculpts are closest as possible to the concepts (and doing a fair job of it, if I do say so myself). And we also got several new very talented sculptors onboard..."
... Well, back to the grinder…

BAH! Not good enough! Food and sleep are clearly optional! DISAPPOINTING!

Hope they get through this with their sanity intact.

Still no KS, but their last update of sorts is to their Tumblr: http://ragingheroes.tumblr.com/

Now, before you click, a warning:

"Here we post images that we find inspiring or funny, behind-the-scenes looks at Raging Heroes miniatures, and all sort of things that wouldn't fit anywhere else. Oh, and some of you might find a few of our posts NSFW.

Sur ce blog vous trouverez toute sortes d'images qui nous inspirent ou qui nous amusent, des images inédites sur notre travail et sur la création de nos figurines Raging Heroes et toutes sortes d'autres trucs en vrac.

Have fun!"

I think every company in the world is now facing the reality that worker productivity will go down because of the intertoobs.

I feel most companies in the world concentrate too much on numbers and alien expectations and not embrace the human reality.

Oh I agree, but as long as they keep on wanting to work the cow until it dies, rather than nurture it for long years, we'll be stuck with it.

As the Toughest Girls of the Galaxy Kickstarter launch is almost upon us, today we share news about our planned shipping programme, and about how many new sculpts you can expect.
And because every good post deserves an image, here's a day in the life here at the studio.
Yes, with barred windows, too...
