Hi,
guess this company needs a thread of its own now.
Current news is that they are working on a new undead and ask for feedback on the sculpt http://www.ragingheroes.com/blogs/news/3444022-rising-from-the-dead :
You may remember Akzeltolt, one of the mini we've presented as a work-in-progress a few month ago. Unfortunately, we were forced to keep him on the shelves as we realized that the kit was very complex to produce. Moreover, we discovered that in his current form, he might not be close enough to what gamers might be looking for. So poor Akzy failed his coming back to life and got right back into his grave.
However, we think the sculpt has amazing potential and so, today, we are asking you about what would be a good way to reincarnate Akzeltolt.
How do you see him in your games?
Would you want him with legs?
What about his weapons?
Do your prefer him as a human-sized character, or as a giant creature?
Just as an undead character? Or also as a demonic creature? Or something else?
We're waiting for your comments and suggestions…

1st Tomb Kings hero
2nd Thousand Sons/Tzeentch Daemon Prince
Great looking models.
I sincerely hope, given Raging Heroes take on the Manticore, that they now do a chimera, cockatrice, dark elf dragon etc and put them out at a similar price to the GW ones, just to show GW how it should be done!
I'd also love them to do a decent multipart Minotaur set to replace the GW ones.

Wow, that is pretty epic. I can see him standing in as any of the large Tomb kings beasties.
I seem to remember there being some problems at the initial release of the manticore with casting. Can anybody confirm that they've fixed those up so that the model you actually receive is as nice as the pictures they show?

Raging Heroes will also do SciFi miniatures in the future. Here a teaser they just posted:

That top model would make an awesome daemon prince.
Though I'd prefer to see bird like legs with claws. The smoke just doesn't seem detailed enough compared to the amazing body.
I'd definitely buy that.

See, I think the gun-sword is ok. It just barely crosses the line into "so ridiculous it's ok" territory. However, it also seems like it would be a fairly easy conversion to put a gun in her right hand and a sword in her left.

Hawtness. I love the inferno pistol with the drum clip. That rocks. The gunsword is pretty ridiculous, but no more so than the old-school nemesis force weapons. I totally dig her.

Kroothawk forgot this bit:
So here is the master for our first sci-fi model: Kapitan Ivanka Kurganova. We’ll have other images soon, showcasing another sword option.
The master is ready to go to foundry for some delicate cleaning and then straight to production. This means that Ivanka could be yours just before the end of July.
If you want to pre-order/order this mini, just add your name to our newsletter and we’ll let you know when pre-orders begin.

Yeah, not entirely sold on the gunblade, but otherwise, that's a stonkin' good effort. Face is a little masculine, but that's not entirely inappropriate

Wow, that commissar is... ridiculous. The pose dates back to the 80s when every commander lead their troops in morning calisthenics. And the sword gun is quite silly and impractical. How do you chop with the blade at that angle?
Edit: I see the sword/gun has a handle behind the gun. Makes better sense, but still not working for me.
I love most of their work, but this is very disappointing. I'm still ordering the manticore though.

Can't say the sword bothers me and I know they put several weapon options on their minis previous.
But the pose is poor. It's like she's been struck with Saturday Night Fever.

I may get this model, but it won't be for my Imperial Guard army. She's less Commissar, more vaguely retropunk pin-up. I really dig the sculpt, though. Looks like I'm back to using Sorscha from Warmachine...
