I would agree. I don't know what anime that's from (Queen's blade?) but it looks pretty pervy.
A statue of, say, Black Rock Shooter in a totally non pervy pose, so for example, just posing her cannon, is normal. She isn't particularly sexualized, and Black Rock Shooter is a normal, non ecchi (if slightly disturbing) anime.
A statue of Angel Blade (from the hentai of the same name) in a combat pose, wearing the same outfit she wears in the anime, which exposes her breasts completely, is pretty pervy, as at the end of the day the anime she is from is a hentai (and a really weird one at that).

It's Chifusa Manyū from Manyū Hiken-chō. It's ecchi comedy by way of Ninja Scroll, for those that have not seen it.

Fairy Tale is pretty awesome! There are so many voice actors that I recognize, and a lot of the characters are really cool. I have watched up to like 45 episodes of the last 2 and a half weeks...guys do you think I have a problem?lol
How much anime do you watch in a week or month? How much is to much? I watch lot of anime and anime movies, but don't watch any tv besides anime really. So I would say I watch an average amount of tv in a week or month, it just happens to all be anime. An I get the pleasure of watching it with friends pretty often.

Ya I have only ever seen very little bits of hentai, not for pleasure mind you lol Most seem to be about rape or at least un-consensual. But then again, japanese sounds very foreign and different to me. Whenever female characters talk it almost always sounds the same and sounds like they are being raped. Female japanese basically sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me lol I'm sure that's just how some languages sound to different cultures

Apparently, even with magic, it easier to take boobs away than it is to grow them bigger. Except for Chifusa who seems to have the opposite problem, much to her sidekick's irritation.)
And, yes, I've seen Ogenki Clinic, and it is far, far worse. To the point the original voice actors will not allow it to be shown subbed in the US.

Having watched a fair bit of Hentai (partly for a laugh and partly out of sheer boredom) I can say that the vast majority of it is moreorless just normal pron, but in animated form. The reason it often sounds...non consensual is simply a voice thing. Having seen actual pron involving Japanese actresses (I am a mere mortal) they do sound rather reluctant even when it is quite obvious that they are having the time of their lives (sporting a broad smile for example). This is simply because they're doing a rather sweet stereotypical "breathy moe" voice. It sounds cute and innocent, and sounds a lot cuter than the standard "unff unff unff". The unfortunate downside is it can sound a little bit...forced. It isn't a forced sex fetish that most Hentai watchers have (although I'm sure many do) it's simply a desire to be able to go "awww, she's so cute and sweet and innocent, I just want to hug her!".
Now obviously there IS plenty of weird, rape orientated Hentai, but it's considered just as weird in Japan as it is over here. The only reason we hear about it is because pron importers aren't interested in normal, tasteful, and in some cases actually heartwarming material (yes, I have watched one yuri clip that had only one, very mild sex scene and was otherwise actually really sweet), although sadly it wasn't subbed so I couldn't understand a word), they're interested in "edgy" exotic stuff that will get perverts interested.
Also, on a more worksafe note, has anyone else seen the hidden rant by Spike Spencer (in Shinji's voice) hidden on the Platinum Collection of Neon Genesis Evangelion, complaining about the ending? It is HILARIOUS. "Ya ran out of ink too, didn't ya, ya bastards!". I must admit that I can partially undesrstand the "Shinji is a whiny little bitch" argument if the person saying so has only seen the dub. Don't get me wrong, Spike did a good job voicing Shinji, but it did sound slightly whiny, and it couldn't compare to Megumi Ogata's absolutely spectacular performance.

We had one guy that lived in our fraternity house that had a tub of pron. like a big rubbermaid tote filled with dvds upon dvds that he picked up for like 50 bucks when the local video store went out of business... A few videos were of the hentai nature, mostly for shock value. A few involved dark colored bibles, and nurses that worked the night shift. He would randomly throw them into his dvd player and just let them run in the background, with his door open. Waiting for anyone to walk in... He had a few shindigs... People who knew what was up would invite people that didn't know what was up, we'd sit down. And then we'd all watch these horrible films... forever scarred..
On a FAR lighter note, I'm thoroughly enjoying Magi: Labyrinth of Magic. It's quite the good story

Anyway, finished trigun. Now watching soul eater. It's ok. The writing is a bit off though. They said soul so many times in the first episode, you'd think it was written by Phil Kelly. The fact that they yell out the name of an attack everytime doesn't really help matters. That'll be like me yelling "bitch-slap to the face!" right before doing it.

Subbed VHS/DVDs came out in the late 90s over here.
*Ok, deep breath* Volumes 1 and 2 were purchased by Anime 18 and then CPM and released dubbed. Volume 3 was purchased separately by Kitty Media who released Volume 3 in sub and dub.
CPM then cut and Mecek'd Volumes 1&2 of OC into a 90 min movie, which I understand was available subbed for the DvD release in 1999, but I have never seen one to verify, the only DvD's I found were all dub.
Like Angel Cop (which was wildly edited for entirely different reasons), I've heard of a sub release, but never seen one with my own eyes outside of fansubs.

So I just finished Vision of Escaflowne which was really good but loses points for me because I like a slightly happier ending then I was provided. I do see why it's considered a classic though.

Well, one of the main dudes name is Soul, and they eat souls, and really a lot of the plot revolves around souls, so it comes up quite lot as they introduce the concepts in the begining.
And yelling bitch slap to the face before doing so would be awesome.
